Need some fantasy football advice. PPR league, 1 point per reception, so receivers with high targets are extremely valuable. I get one keeper. Pick between the 3: Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, Zeke Elliot

Zeke. Donkey RBs are few and far between.

Yass. ;)

In all seriousness, I do tend to oversimplify topics like this when outside of academia. There's no need for a long version on here since it's an off-topic tangent that only a few people are interested in. If you're really interested in how race as a concept was constructed I can probably come up with a reading list for you.

It's the American way. I'm glad you're a true American. :D
No...I do not. It is claptrap revisionism, and no mount of long winded, academic, "smart" sounding posts from you are going to make me see otherwise.

Am I the only only one who thinks the weekly chat on VQ is kind of pathetic? I’ve been reading for a couple months now and I don’t believe I’ve learned anything from any of them. It’s just a bunch of guys posting similar questions and generally getting a vague response. Feels like middle school to me

They get to see 5 minutes of practice each day so they really have nothing to go by. I can tell you for certain that a certain players dad is a lot of their sourcing.

It’s no ones fault really it’s just this new staff is super tight lipped and organized. They tailor practice to where nothing is going on while media media is there.

I said before the scrimmage report that Brice did from the first scrimmage was dead on to a tee. Whoever he was talking to was there. Other than that most of everyone’s stuff are just general observations and guesses.

wtf? I don't even know what you're offended about. Both my OP and my response to you were meant to be light-hearted.

I’m excited for Saturday but I must confess it is the least excited I’ve been for an opener in a long time. Not sure why. The 4-8 season, subsequent coaching search debacle, the dud recruiting finish, and the fact that the usual suspects (Bama, Clemson, etc) are picked to go to the playoffs has me a little ho hum.

That plus there is really no buzz at all about our team.

just peaked that gallery link you sent and this #11 was working with the linebacker group yesterday. the 'real' Austin Smith #30 was in the background as well. I'm not sure who this is BUT you might be on to something here.

i love a good mystery...

Didn't it get solved in the thread? Pretty sure it's a walk-on that changed numbers.

Brice has a couple of guys in the athletic department he gets info from. Probably some of the assistant AD’s.

I don't want to kick a hornet's nest here, and I'm sure it's been talked about before; but, Brice is the only reason I gave thought to Gruden being our next coach, all because I thought he had sources inside the athletic department. How did he miss so bad, or what did I miss?
I don't want to go on and on about this for pages and pages, just would like some of your guys and gals thoughts and opinions?

Gruden = pages and pages

Yeah, Im going to take it down, on second thought. Thanks.
You’re not wrong. Don’t blame you for deleting it.

But my feeling on the rumor you’re talking about is that a certain former athletic director told his staff he was going to Tampa to talk to a certain former NFL head coach but was really going down there to vet the other former NFL coach we tried to hire.

Really don't know how KNS stays in business. They are pathetic at just about everything.

Agreed. I'll only check out local news in print or broadcast form when I am feeling masochistic. But I guess when you're owned and subsidized by Gannett, and your digital strategy is to make the experience as obtrusive as possible (click too far off an articles' margins and you're redirected to the home page, wth?!?!), you can end up getting away providing a subpar product
