lol. agreed. though i'm gonna say right now that i hope our hc isn't talking to donors about covering the spread.......sounds like something that shouldn't be anywhere near the priority list....lol.
I doubt that's how it was. Probably more like "hey coach you think we're gonna keep this close?"
And Pruitt probably said "Close? WGWDFA. Why would we let them keep it close?"

i'm good with that. i'd settle for an old Herm Edwards "duh, you play to win the game", and just leave it at that.

But will ASU
ha....no.

i will say this, i think they have a higher ceiling because of where they're coming from in the Pac 12. and there's a lot of new out there at UCLA and not really sure how good USC is. AZ has tons of questions. there's room to move up in that divisioin. not sure for how long, but it's there right now.

Lol Vanderbilt completely botched a BeyoncƩ and Jay Z Concert last night. Hundreds left stranded outside trying to get in.

I was there, it was a mess before the concert but honestly it was just poor crowd control outside. No organization. Even when you made it in some people didn’t have seats because the seats are like upper deck Neyland... small bleacher seats. The row in front of us 2 people that had to sit in the aisle because one guy was like 300+ pounds and took up 2-3 seats. As far as the actual concert, stage/lighting, etc, it was well done.

guy

ESPN guy, used to play for BYU. I like Matich a lot. Usually very level-headed, so not sure if he was taking the role of devil's advocate opposite the guy who was giving a blistering rant against Meyer and OSU. Match kept reading from the committee findings to make the case for not during Urb, and I am thinking no one should take that report seriously. OSU found itself not guilty, and didn't even bother with a sacrificial lamb. Big surprise.
i watched that, and it was Jonathon Vilma on the other side. i got what Mattich was saying and doing, and based on what the report said, he was 100% accurate. absent of other "proof", this is all they have to go on. so technically, he's not wrong.

Vilma took the more 'common sense' approach and did a lot of reading between the lines. most all of which i agreed with. i don't hold it against Mattich, as i'm sure there was some content requirements for the show, but anyone that takes that report on face value, and has no questions after reading it, is a complete moron.

Kevin Sumlin at AZ is probably gonna be a real nice fit. He's a good recruiter and coach, just tough to compete in the SEC. Chip Kelly is probably gonna make UCLA better too. USC may have a drop off but they'll still be good. Overall I think the Pac12 will be down this year at the top but in the middle I could see it being pretty good. Also, I think Herm was an awful hire and will not win very many games.

They apparently had multiple gates closed and hundreds were still in clusters trying to get in hour or more after concert started. And hundreds also snuck in without a ticket because of the disaster.
What I heard was the concert tickets were buy one get one Vandy season ticket. The concert goers didn't realize the Vandy season ticket wasn't optional and they had to take it. It caused a riot.

over time, i agree. like i said, not sure how long that window will be open for Az St to move up in the division. i agree about sumlin and kelly at UCLA. i look for that division over the next 3 years to be down to USC, UCLA and AZ.

edit, not sure how i had Kelly at South Carolina...lol. thank God that's not the case....whew.
