Not me directly, he was a childhood friend of my wife's. I personally don't know any but knowing a pro ballplayer from my area isn't all that rare. There are a handful of high schools around here where if you went there during about a 10 year window you were probably there with at least one guy who made the majors, and a few more who kicked around the minors for a while.

Ha, I did indeed (and cool story) but Justin was quite a few years younger than me. I was still a year or few older than them but when I was in high school it was Mark, BJ, David Wright and Zimmerman that everyone already knew about.
