I always appreciated his opinion and football knowledge but to be fair he brought a lot of that on himself. He could have presented his opinions with a little less arrogance.BB didn’t leave because UT didn’t recruit Woodi.
He left or stopped posting as much because of how posters were treating him.
Players are much more confident.Cliffs notes of the article for those of us who don’t have a subscription?
So, talked to Jeff Hall today. Still wears his NC ring, thought that was kinda cool.
At least he didn't pawn it like some.
That is pretty cool but I'm not one that's gonna dog someone who is forced to pawn something valuable if life gives them an uppercut. Just saying, we don't always know the full story or the heartbreak behind why something like that happens.
simontonThe media saw just a single period of practice today, so there’s not much to report.
A couple bullet point highlights…
*** Brandon Kennedy was again working with the S&C staff off to the side. The move looks precautionary, with Kennedy perhaps receiving a couple maintenance days at the end of camp. Notably, linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr. was not working in the pit Thursday.
*** The Vols shuffling continued, but with Kennedy sidelined, Chance Hall saw some work at left guard today as Ryan Johnson shifted over to center. Trey Smith look initial reps at left tackle before flipping with Drew Richmond.
*** With school in session, the rosters have expanded with lots of new walk-ons now, so Tennessee is practicing with nearly 120 guys. For the first time in camp, we saw scout team jerseys — with lots of scholarship players donning the black shirts. Notables included DL Matthew Butler, WRs Latrell Willams, Maleik Gray and Jacquez Jones, TEs Jacob Warren and Princeton Fant and OL Ollie Lane.
It is dumb to sell something priceless like that, unless it really just means nothing to you. What do you sell next week when things get tough? Now on the other hand I can understand pawning it with the intention of paying back the loan and getting it back and then things just going sideways. That is pretty cool but I'm not one that's gonna dog someone who is forced to pawn something valuable if life gives them an uppercut. Unlike the barber, I actually liked Breakerboy, but we went at it a few times and he probably didn't think so. I think he was a good guy, and had some interesting opinions and info sometimes.I always appreciated his opinion and football knowledge but to be fair he brought a lot of that on himself. We have been in a severe financial mess for the last year since I lost my job, and it has been really tempting at times to pawn the very valuable sentimental jewelry we have...but we didn't, and made up our minds we were never going to.
When I was in my twenties I did that one time and lost a personalized ruby masonic ring that belonged to my grandfather...I have no idea what seemed so important at the time, probably one months rent or utility bill on a place I ended up losing anyway, but that is one of my biggest regrets in life...it was stupid.
He likes most of his DBs to train all over the secondary. With uptempo he likes to be change scheme on fly with same personell on field with limited time to sub. Like others have said star tends to train with safeties but also probably get cb time in closed setting
