There are some on here, "Vol fans", who absolutely would think it's funny. They are eaten up with BVS so much, and more than likely just miserable to begin with, that failure or loss is what makes them feel good, not winning...all because they can say, 'i told you so', and continue on wallowing in their misery.Where is the funny part?
JJ is gonna get off one of these subway cars. I just know it.

That is a sweeping generalization. I'm pessimistic(I think realistic) about some things, and I expect this year to be rough. I promise I take no pleasure in it, and hope with everything I have to be wrong. There are some on here, "Vol fans", who absolutely would think it's funny. I wasn't talking about you; I don't believe you to be anything like the folks I'm referring to. You know who they are, and so do they. People who absolutely relish it when things go south, so that the rest of us can feel what they claim to be already feeling, and had prepared for. I too am a realist, but I also love to be optimistic. If that means that Im disappointed when things go bad, so be it; but, I refuse to lower my expectations just so I don't feel bad if things go wrong. Thats the biggest example of a loser if ever there was one. That is a sweeping generalization. I'm pessimistic(I think realistic) about some things, and I expect this year to be rough. I'm optimistic about the future under Pruitt in general. I think we have good coaches, and I believe they are getting good, potentially great players no matter what the stupid services rank this class.
Those are always garbage trolls imo. No matter how pessimistic they may be, there is no way any true Vol would wish for negative results for the Vols.I wasn't talking about you; I don't believe you to be anything like the folks I'm referring to. But, no, McGill...you're not one the people I'm talking about.
I totally agree, buddy. The thing I think about you is, I don't want you to miss out on anything, miss out on being excited about the future, because of what has happened in the past. And the reason is, I know you're genuine Vol, just been beaten up like the rest of us. And I know about being real, and all that. I'll give you an example: JJ Peterson. Yes, there is a REAL possibility he doesn't make it; but, I'm going to stay pumped out of my mind about one of the best LB in the country being a Vol, until he is without a doubt not one. Those are always garbage trolls imo. That's the thing, in all my years as a Vol fan, these things usually work out for us more times than not. Not always, no...but, more than not.I believe he will be a Vol, just not till January...then again i hope Im wrong. Experience tells me these things work out about as much as winning 10$ on a scratch off ticket...it happens, just not something you want to base your hope for dinner on.
I'm not meaning to be argumentative, but when the heck has this worked out more often than not? Are you talking about the players ending up as Vols anyway, even if they have to come in later or go Juco first? That's the thing, in all my years as a Vol fan, these things usually work out for us more times than not.
