That’s irrelevant to this thread. And honestly who knows how Butch was behind the scenes and how is his players viewed him. I’m sure there were several more in Preston’s boat. Hell, from an underachieving standpoint I can think of many. I’m in no way proclaiming PW to be a saint, I’m sure he was a premadonna in his own right. Who knows, maybe an honest, no BS coach like Pruitt would have been a breath of fresh air for PW. That doesn’t matter though.

Not the same situation; but, Williams lost, and then had to regain, his eligibility. It's the same when looking at it in terms of being eligible, and the timeline one has to become so.
