Feel good enough to post my depth chart prediction for WVU.

QB- JG/Chryst
RB- Chandler/Jordan/London
FB- Blakely
WR- Calloway/Jennings
SWR- Johnson/Murphy
TE- DWA/Wolfe
LT- Richmond
LG- Smith
C- Kennedy
RG- R. Johnson
RT- J. Johnson.
You know what’s really funny? You watch practice and CAN NEVER spell WOLF correctly

It’s autocorrect on my iPhone. I’m glad you are good at spelling because lord knows actual football concepts are like Latin to you.
Considering I’ve never made one post about football concepts. Nice try tho brotha

Some good convos and scouting reports on WVU over in the FF if y'all care to venture over. Two threads up with some good info, still have the usual ff fluff to sift thru tho...

Football must be getting close because im slowly starting to convince myself we are better than all these analysts and "experts" on twitter, espn etc think. I promised myself i wouldnt do this, that id remain rational and not get my hopes up, that i wouldnt let my heart get in the way, that 5-7 or 6-6 is a realistic ceiling and even that kind of seemingly subpar season would be a good year after last years debacle but I cant do it. Im buying the hype, 7-5 or 8-4, the oline is going to be much improved with a healthy Smith and Hall and an improved Richmond, the Qb (whoever it ends up being) will be solid, and these super talented wrs will finally have the chance to produce in a real offense. Dominick Wood-Anderson is going to shine, our RB by committee is going to be more than serviceable with Chandler having a break out vs a putrid WV defense. Kongbo, Taylor, Kirkland, Sapp, Bituli are going to be the players we know theyre capable of. Tuttle and Phillips are finally going to show why they were so highly ranked. Nigel Warrior is going to be a monster. Taylor, Shamburger, George, Thompson, Buchannon and Osborne are going to be gritty and make enough plays to keep us in games under Pruitts coaching and by god JJ Peterson is going to make it to campus! WGWTFA.

TLDR- im going to get my heart broken again but damnit im going to be confident and positive until that happens.

anyone else think we shut down the Sills kid? Not so sure about Grier, he's obviously extremely talented, but I'm really not sold on Sills. We have too much speed IMO.
Will need his guy to be football smart and physical. Speed isn’t how he kills you but the precision and big body will get him past you.

To take a full 25, we can add grad transfers after NSD. And it seems likely we will. We're still in on quite a few guys that would be a take over some of the current commits, so it's almost inevitable that the class will get reshuffled. And that could happen right up till NSD, since some of the top targets may not announce until then.
We are in on so many top guys, but man we really don’t have a lot of commits I want to lose. Tough situation. Wish we could sign 30.

*** Tennessee’s offensive line did all sorts of shuffling Wednesday, with nearly everyone taking reps at multiple spots. Notably, projected starting center Brandon Kennedy was out and working with the S&C staff on the side, so Ryan Johnson took plenty of reps at center. The rest of the unit moved all around, with Trey Smith taking reps at LT and RT, same for Drew Richmond, Jahmir Johnson and Marcus Tatum, who has a big wrap on his left ankle and went to work with the S&C staff as we were leaving the field. K’Rojhn Calbert and Chance Hall both saw work at LT and LG. Again, everybody was moving all around Wednesday. Injured OL Tanner Antonutti continues to be out on the field as a student assistant.

*** Aside from Kennedy, the pit crew remained largely the same, with Darrin Kirkland Jr., Kenneth George and several walk-ons working on the side. No sign of two recently injured OL, though. As has been the case all week, Kirkland rejoined the practice once the individual periods were over and we were leaving the field.

*** We didn’t see routes on air, as the wideouts worked mainly on run blocking drills. The quarterbacks and tailbacks spent a period focusing on zone-read handoffs.

*** With a subdued Kevin Sherrer, the linebackers focused on tackling, as did the secondary.

*** Tennessee had two new walk-ons join the team today: A DB (G Johnson) and a DL (M Smith). Both were in shorts and helmets, as they go through the NCAA acclamation period.

I havent read much about him lately, are we thinking Hall isnt ready yet? Cause i think with him its a completely different look and much, much better
Smith
Hall
Kennedy
Johnson
Richmond

I think thats a truly serviceable and possibly above average SEC line potential group of theyre all healthy.

For the record, I said it when the hire was announced. I just don't want to be confused with the reactionaries when I drop by for a bit of nose rubbing.
Rubs both ways...self-hater! In kindred spirit, I plan on updating you on Chip Kelly exploits...if I can see past your nose planted in his butt. 😉
