Hit him on the medial epicondyle. I.e. the funny bone. The ulner nerve runs directly behind that where are he got hit. That’s why he was shaking the hand he couldn’t feel his fourth and fifth digits. Hopefully there’s no fracture, but I’d say he had several days of swelling.

Yeah. They X-ray last night and said they’re going to hold off on announcing results until they have the CT scan today as well. After Ronald’s X-ray they damn near had an on field celebration.

Feels like bad news coming.

Thought the same thing when I read that. Im semi-salty about it tbh, that dude had zero idea where the ball was going. He almost hit two or three of our guys.

They don’t have a third catcher on the 40 man. Would love to see Jackson called up, but my guess is they would promote Chris Stewart.

I’m sure they’re scouring the wire but I’d bet chris Stewart gets the call now and Jackson too in September if something is wrong with Kurt.

A guy I work with is a donor at UT. He said he was discussing Vols with a few other guys there and CJP comes up to them and shakes their hand, kisses babies, etc. Then he randomly asks, “do y’all guys bet?” The all responded with a yes and CJP said, “Well I would bet on us against West Virginia, Florida, and South Carolina. Big.” Then he just walked away like a badass.

I know, cool story bro but I’m taking the Vols now and the over

I do not believe this is how good gamblers approach this type of situation but I sure hope you win that bet!

In other news that probably nobody will really care about but, as the father of a young son who I really hope will have at least a marginal interest in watching a little bit of the games with dad next season, start times for night games and Sunday games will be moving up 15 next season, 7:20 and 1:20.
