yeah, haven't hit on kirkland yet today, but that was disappointing to hear. i want to believe cjp in that it's just maintenance days, but it's starting to feel like it just isn't gonnah happen. rotational player when healthy, it seems anyways.

I think they built in a lot of maintenance days for him... because we're going to need him to start the season. Need somebody to step up behind him-- like Ignont-- because they're going to be rotating him to try and keep him healthy.

IMO, I think Smith, Kennedy, Richmond are locked at LT, C, RT, then figure out the two best Guards to fill them in. Eventually, in the event Hall, Tatum, or J. Johnson can step up into a Tackle position it gives the flexibility to move Smith or even Richmond back to Guard. I do get the opinion that Smith/Kennedy at G/C would help in the run game, just think the tackles are our biggest weakness and we need to start off with Smith there early in the season.

I honestly don't think they'll get plays during WVU. I do think they'll play during ETSU and UTEP though. Just to see how they handle live action.

I def think DKJr will play against WVU, unless he has a setback. They want experience on the field and they'll look to him and Bituli to be the leaders.

i think everyone's skeptical, to some degree. i've not seen anyone take a positive difinitive stance on richmond. lots of "hopes, thinks, wants, needs......." don't recall many "he will" or "he is" statements about him made in a positive or optimistic light.
