This.not sure how i feel about that statement. i'm trying to figure out why he would want KC to win the job?
what's the motivation there, to want it for one, but not the other? just b/c he brought KC in? dunno.
i think he's getting what he wanted....competition and somone, or both, are getting better..........
That's the point I'm trying to make is if you follow his words I see why people think what they do. But if you follow his investments in coaches and qb recruiting since he's been here it leads to a completely different conclusion. And they didn't get Helton or Friend for cheap, so I tend to think the money spent is a pretty good indicator of the intentions. This is what's hard to anticipate about Pruitt. He words indicate he wants an offense that won't get you beat. His assistant hires though say he wants an offense that will win the game. It's hard to know what to expect, especially given all the roster uncertainty on both offense and defense.
On Trey Wallace’s radio show, his producer is reading a text from an inside source that says JG has had disastrous interceptions in the first two scrimmages and that the race is too close to call.
He says his producer played for UT and his sources are legitimate.
I have no idea who his producer is or his connections.
that's the frustrating thing for us, it's just stories.Crazy how JG goes from not throwing INTs last yr to hearing stories during fall have he can’t stop throwing them.
Maybe he is getting the ball out quicker
yep, heard the same thing. he's also not sure how big a factor JJ is at WR this year. banged up, not getting a ton of work.Listening to Swain's radio show today, and he seems adamant that JG will be the starter. He gets access to the scrimmages and practices that other media sources do not. The other interesting take was that Palmer has been best WR in camp with Murphy second. Says Calloway hasn't been what he expected.
Trey Wallace's source is probably reading VN posts by Hank.that's the frustrating thing for us, it's just stories.
now, i'll admit, it worries me a little that are the stories are bad....lol. my head says "welp, here we go" my heart says "we're sandbagging".

then it's just my bad luck for not seeing any of the"good" stories i guess....lolTrey Wallace's source is probably reading VN posts by Hank.Swain and Ainge have been saying a lot of good things about JG, and supposedly those 2 get access to practice and scrimmage that other media don't. There really haven't been that many negative things said about him.
Ignorant assumption on your part. You are entitled to it. It's just ignorant. CJP wants to win games. Period.
yep. and taking that in to consideration, if there was every any inkling with the offensive coaches that JG could start here this year, then the biggest thing they could accomplish by bringing KC in here is to provide competition and depth at QB short term, and starting next year, you'll have probably a full on qb competition with JG, shrout and any incoming freshmen. and i won't be shocked if they go grad transfer route next year too, no matter what. jmo.If anything it would be the opposite. They would want the talented sophmore to grow up, win the job, and play well. Even if KC wins the job, plays like a nfl qb, and we go 9-3... we’re still back to square one next year.
