What is the punishment for treason and treasonist actions committed by a president ? That EX CIA director is bringing this all down on himself and being paid by MSM to do . Like I said , even Clapper is saying he should probably stop .

I’ll ask again what is the punishment for a sitting president that is a traitor and does traitorist actions ? This is my golden rule ... if you live in a glass house don’t be throwing rocks at other houses . Did he think about what he was calling Trump ? You know he did . Did he care about what the punishment was ? I’m sure he didn’t care so why all the feels for him ? He’s not some choir boy that doesn’t know how the political game is played .

Nope , public hangings are barbaric . He should be dropped off in the nearest communist country and made to live there for 10 years since he loves him some communism and for lying to Congress ... just my opinion 😉

I didn’t say what consequences , I haven’t seen the government go after Brennan’s right to speak have you ? I did watch a sitting president use his power to remove a security clearance from a man that no longer works in government and is no longer on a need to know bases . Like it or not he has the power to do that .

Sen. John Kennedy defended President Donald Trump's decision to revoke John Brennan's security clearance and called the former CIA director a "butthead" who doesn't need the clearance.

Having a clearance is a privilege not a right. That point was made to me several times from enlistment thru separation. The howling about Brennan somehow having his 1st amendment right infringed upon is funny. He is more than free to continue running his mouth for money and in no way is the government going to attempt to silence him unless he breaks his oath to protect the secrets he was entrusted with.

Nope. Your conflating his right to have the clearance with trumps taking it away.

No one is arguing that Trump doesn't have the right, nor are they arguing that retired persons should keep it.

What's being argued is that it's removal is a purely political punishment with threats to do it to more of his detractors if they keep it up. Effectively coercing these people to limit what they say.

I'm not conflating his right to a clearance because he has none. The reason it was taken away probably is political punishment, that still in no way infringes on his right to speak freely. In regards to the rest of his detractors, with the exception of Ohr (different story), I have heard of no one listed who has a justifiable reason for even still having a clearance. So even if they have them taken away for purely political reasons, it still does not infringe on any of their rights.

It's no surprise that Trump rescinded Brennan's clearance, and it doesn't matter why he did it, at this point anyway.

But the assertion that Brennan is a traitor and should be hung.. defend that if you want.

So you're saying that the threat of yanking the clearances doesn't constitute a targeted effort to silence the critics? Interesting.

How can taking away a clarance silence anyone ? It didn’t silence Brennan , he’s doubling down and talking about suing LOL . How can taking something from you that “ you don’t use “ be a threat ? Now if he said I’m putting Brennan under investigation for speaking out and I’ve got others I’ll do the same to if they speak out ... I’d agree with you on the threats to stop them from speaking .
