Same. Was loads of fun. I developed blisters on my tonsils. Would buy again. 5 Stars.
I got it about 4 years ago. Couldn’t figure out why a medium weight deadlift was painful on my hands and feet. Put on gloves and it still hurt. The sores popped up that night. Was an uncomfortable few days.

He's also admitted he doesn't hear anything from the current guys. And he's been pretty off with a lot of personnel predictions over the past few seasons.

I'm not sure his opinions should be valued much more than any other fan who closely follows the team at this point.

I don't think anyone is clued in. Even the coaches don't really know what they have. The lights haven't come on yet.

Has anyone read reports referencing the team's psyche after last year and what the staff is doing to overcome that? Know is was made mention of on here, that it's a thing, and at least one coach has addressed it in an interview. But, what is the staff actively doing to boost confidence and change that mindset?

My impression of Pruitt and Co. is they demand toughness, especially mental toughness. He's refreshingly old school like that. WV could be a big deal for this reason, so too could the UF game. If we play UGA close, then I see us upsetting AU. For that reason the Bama game is close also. I can see us starting the season at 5-2, because of mental capacity. We have the talent. The team lacked fortitude last year (and our best players weren't on the field, i.e Jumper and injuries).

How we lose to Bama will determine if we lose to USCe, but we'll be really banged up going into that game. If we lose badly to USCe, then we'll drop a fourth game, but not sure to which team. I'm going to say either an 8-4 season or a 5-7 season.

I said something about the demeanor being different with our guys (versus recent years) in one of the early camp media availability sessions and it was suggested that I might be reading too much into it. Then I read Jimmy Hyams interview with Chris Rumph and I guess it made more sense to me. (Note: From what I've read the absolute number one priority of any coach is to get his players to believe in themselves).

When I asked Vols co-defensive coordinator Chris Rumph in a one-on-one interview about the talent the staff inherited, he provided insight into the psyche that was inherited. At first, he said: “It’s good talent, man. Just good talent.’’ Then, he added: “It’s a little bit like a dog that’s been abused a little bit,’’ Rumph said of UT’s players. “Sort of shy. They don’t really want to look you in the eye. If you raise your voice a little bit, they sort of, I don’t want to say cower down, but sort of get in a submissive role. And that’s expected for what they’ve been through. And I’ve been there before.’’ Indeed, South Carolina was 3-6-2 Rumph’s first season as a linebacker in 1991. Four years later, the Gamecocks won their first bowl game ever, beating West Virginia – ironically, the Vols’ season-opening opponent.

So how do you deal with the current crop of Vols? “We just got to put our arms around them and tell them, `We know where you want to go, allow us to take you there,’’’ Rumph said.

Is it hard to change the culture of a team that went 0-8 in the SEC? “Yes and no,’’ Rumph said. “If you got the right people and they’re made of the right stuff, you can change them.’’

I asked Rumph, who was hired by Pruitt off the Florida staff, about the compliment paid to him by Florida defensive end CeCe Jefferson at SEC Football Media Days — and if getting the most out of players requires having a good relationship. “I think so,’’ Rumph said. “The guy has got to trust you. They first got to know you care and you love them because some of the things I’m gonna ask them to do, they gotta know I care about them, that I’m not putting them in harm’s way or I’m not going to do anything that’s gonna make them look foolish or embarrass them. So once a kid understands where your heart is and who you are as a person, as a man, I think you can get them to do just about anything.’’

When I listen to CJP I'm actually also listening for what's not being said. He seems to me to be very positive toward our players, consistently pointing to our talent and desire and accepting the staff's responsibility for teaching them the know-how. It seems to me, from what little access we have, the staff has done and is doing a first rate job with the types of things leadership typically does to win the trust of their group. (I've sort of dubbed him the encourager in chief). It starts from the top but to have a really good team trust must be reciprocal and I think we're beginning to see some signs of that. I may be reading too much into this but that's my opinion.

I like Larry. He was asked in the FF if he got to see any practices or scrimmages. He posted this in the FF about an hour ago:

I don't spend the time doing that any longer.. too busy chasing grandkids, little white ball and traveling.. haven't tripped to Knoxville since 2015

Went and looked at LWS’s posts here lately. Man, he’s went full Debbie Downer on us.
I was just thinking about him the other day. Care to give cliffnotes? I really don't want to venture over to the FF. FYI, he has been full Debbie Downer for about 5 years or so.

Basically he doesn’t think we’ll be great again until the university as a whole gets on the same page.

He also basically says Chyrst will Be the starter and we will go 4-8

4-8 wont happen. period. hes a moron for thinking that.

We said the exact same thing about him last year. With that said I know Larry. He knows nothing more than we do in this case. Just his opinion like last year which he turned out to be correct on
