It is astonishing the recruiting CJP is doing considering he came in late and on the heels of the worst season in UT history. Granted, the man won National Recruiter of the Year 2x but still.....Dang if he cant sell some cornbread!

And unlike Butch, he is not getting handy legacies or easy in-states, Pruitt is pulling these from the jaws of real competition.

Darn Skippy, makes me that much more excited about the really big fish that Pruitt is trying to real in to finish this class.

I wonder how many of these safeties will be converted to Cornerback?
honeslty, i don't think any will be converted to a true CB. we have two tru CB's and two Safeties committed. we will need safeties with TKjr, micha graduating and possibly Warrior going earl to the NFL. so i think Mcollough and Harris were both recruited to be in place for depth there. and Fields and Burrell will stay at CB. speculation mostly, but reading the tea leaves on the roster, i think that's how to plays out. plush i dont' think mcollough is fast enough to play CB. he's a center fielder, and could probably play that Star position.

we're still recruiting guys like HIll, Bush and Hampton at Corner as well. i think an easier transition would be for one of those guys to go to safety when they got here. but we'll see.

Sorry for the redundant post. I scanned the board and did not see the earlier post.

I said from the start that this coaching staff is one of the best if not the best staffs in College Football. That is how we are getting all these recruits. Jeremy is going to play the young guys. He knows how to build a team and is starting with the D which will show the fans improvement immediately and allow JP to recruit even better when the recruits see JP playing the freshmen players.
