In keeping with the teachings of Jesus, I try to not let hate abide in my heart... but there is a tiny little corner down in there. It is where the poop, darkness, and my feelings about Florida & Alabama percolate and fester.

My dog drops bits of Florida and Alabama hate all over my backyard. I used to scoop them up, but now I just run them over with the lawn mower. It is more therapeutic.

We don't want to see where damn is tatooed. 🤮. Saw this on twiiter.View attachment 163443

Yeah, UTEP, Charlotte, and ETSU are terrible, even by cupcake standards. I think UTEP and Charlotte won 1 game between them last year.

Florida plays Charleston Southern and Idaho. They do play Colorado State as part of the McElwain agreement, but that is like us playing Utah State or Southern Miss.

UGA plays Austin Peay, MTSU, and UMass.

Colorado State may beat them. They're pretty good.

Miss St and Auburn are about even to me. And I’d guess if the metrics are based solely on talent that LSU and Alabama are pretty close - although we all know we’d rather play LSU.

I guess our three cupcakes really drag us down on the metrics.

Different coach at Bama than LSU is a big difference.

It won't be long before Mike Bobo gets a power 5 head coaching job.
They brought in K.J. Carta-Samuels who will be competing with Patrick O'Brien (who transferred from Nebraska and was a higher rated 4 star than KJ) to replace Nick Stevens at QB. Preston Williams leads a talented and big group of WRs. And they have a really solid G5 Oline. Not sure about their defense, but their offense will be really hard to stop.

UF was 4-7 last year… and ranked #27 in the preseason Coaches Poll. Tennessee was 4-8 and didn’t get a vote. SCAR, which squeaked by UT in the final seconds, thanks to our complete redzone incompetence, is #26. There’s a negative bias against UT based, in part, on variables that are no longer relevant. It's not going to change until we win some big games—and WVU and UF would be an excellent start.

I think so too, but we do have a much more difficult schedule

They lost some close games, but they went 7-6 last year. Not like playing a former Boise State team.
We'll see. I'm just saying their offense is really good and their not gonna be an easy win for anyone. I would not put them in the cupcake category by any means. Should Florida beat them? Probably. I'm just saying CSU could beat them and it wouldn't surprise me at all.

85 be like “Damn! Christmas already?”
Yeah, some fans will be super happy that one of our players has a serious back injury probably. Which would be sad IMO. I don't really think 85 really cared that much though. I just think he liked to rile up the TA haters.

I admit that I had to look it up. He has gone 7-6 three straight years. Not sure of the expectations there, but McElwain had gone 10-3 the previous year.
Yeah, I don't think he's been able to field a good enough defense to win more, but his offense has been really good the last 2 years. Of course Will Friend could be the reason for that, but they certainly have enough talent on offense to compete with just about anyone. Defense is Bobo's problem.

i seem to remember Price saying yesterday that he thought it was JG was probalby in the driver's seat.

all this tells me is that media, in general, isn't getting a ton of double secret probation type info. everyone's best guess, based on what they've seen, and what little they've heard.
