I say it. The only reason to give former employees this benefit is to help the current administration. This clown is not out to help anyone. He is only interested in covering his ass like his merry band of men. Why give a guy like that more information than he needs? Need to know basis.

Brennan is not accused of having done anything wrong. He hasn't leaked anything. He hasn't been accused of anything unethical, much less criminal. He gets his security clearance yanked because he criticized Trump. So Trump is retaliating.

Know who still has security clearance? Michael Flynn. The guy who plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his involvement in Russia.

If the Trump defenders don't see anything wrong with that, there is no hope for you.

What classified information has he disclosed? How has he acted criminally or unethically? (See e.g. Flynn).

There's no excuse. Sanders made a half-hearted attempt at that yesterday, but Trump has since expressly said it is because Brennan was saying bad things about him.

As others have said, the POTUS has the power to yank it. No one is saying he can't. It just speaks volumes to Trump's inability to accept criticism or to craft a sophisticated response. His immaturity is remarkable and is worse I think that any of us expected. I increasingly worry about the risk posed by having someone so mercurial and impetuous in the WH.

He says Trumps claim that there was no collusion is "hog wash". This means there must be evidence to back up his claim, right? There has been no evidence shown to the public that proves this so he must be using info that no other reporter can get. So he is either using classified info or he is a liar. which is it?

mmmmkay. Defending the optics I am not. Defending a former member of the government having classified access revoked I am all for. Michael Flynn included. Personally I believe that when there is a change of administration that NONE of those removed from their job requiring that access should have it pulled. What logical reason is there for them to have it?

Now I don't know who is or isn't correct, though I have my thoughts and suspicions on it. According to Bloomberg reporting yesterday, the DNI was involve with the decision. But you know, gotta run with the nobody knew narrative for now, because.. "Free and Honest press"

The information available publicly shows that there was collusion. You may not agree with that, but it is perfecftly reasonable to argue that it does. Just admit that Brennan has not leaked anything and say you defend his credentials being yanked, anyway, for political reasons. It will be a lot easier for you because its the truth.

If he had done that, you might have a point. He did not. He picked one guy, in particular, and is threatening a list of specific people, all of whom have dared speak out against him. That is the ONLY thing they have in common.

You know, you ought to be thanking them for their service and for ringing the alarm bell, both about Russian interference having already occurred and the potential for it to occur again. That it is is more important to defend this one President -- no matter what he did -- at the expense of the truth about the risks posed then and in the future, shows just how short-sighted, selfish, immature, and unsophisticated Trump supporters can be.

It is decidely un-American and quite shameful.
