it's irrational to take that stance after 1 closed scrimmage where we may only have 1 actual eye witness who admittedly is speculating himself. so how do you know what looks good to you or not? you've seen the same as just about everyone on this board. NOTHING.

you've taken some second hand info and gotten all spun up about how we will be this or won't be that.

trust me, everyone here knows that if we don't have at least serviceable qb play the offense will struggle. and everyone knows what a one dimensional offense gets you. you've just accepted that's the way it is and that you hope you're wrong, and now lecturing us about it.

that's irrational.

We will see, but it is evident that JG has not clearly separated himself from Mr. 52%. That is more than just mildly concerning.

Let me putt out and I'll get out of your way...

Heard that too. I think he’s far and away more mature and collected than Muschamp.
Yeah idk. Wasn't all that long ago that he was tapping co-eds at FSU and showing up drunk at Richt's house wanting to squabble (supposedly). Hopefully he's matured like you say and his wife has kind of helped settle down a little.

IDT the team will lay down this year. A few players might start to, and my guess is they'll get a top-notch ass chewing... a warning... then a seat on the bench, if it becomes a habit. That was the worst thing about last year's team-- the tendency to hang their heads and quit. Clearly, this staff doesn't have much tolerance for that... though recent comments indicate it's still an issue with some players.

It’s completely irrational. You haven’t watched a single practice. You have no, I repeat NO clue how either of the QBs are doing nor do you have a clue how our offense is gonna look this year. It’s ridiculous to be this panicked and depressed about something you have no clue about yet.

KC has NOT been named the starter yet, i know that’s hard for you to believe for some reason. Even if he is the starter, he wasn’t horrible his first year as a starter (not great either) then got hurt and was coming back from an acl which clearly affected him last year.

So you’re judging off a player that was playing on a somewhat knee and declaring that he can’t get better. You do realize players can improve right? Maybe he is better now than he was? Maybe we will have a more varied offense than Stanford runs. So many variables and unknowns at this point that yes, it’s COMPLETELY irrational for you to have taken the stance that all is lost, KC is the starter, he sucks, he will always suck, the offense will suck and will be painful to watch.

I like you dude, (Wonder if it has to do with the fact I like the character in oh brother and he’s your username and avatar? Lol ) but your hot takes are almost always premature panic and unnecessary.

LET THE SEASON START before you go into freak out mode.
We will see....So you are gonna bet on a dude to just suddenly turn it on after 4 years of college?

I think that is irrational...but we will see

Better watch it, or you will get thoroughly castigated for saying that. 😏 I don't think it will be a problem now though.

Care to elaborate which players?

I’m not betting on anything. That’s what I’m trying to say to you. We don’t even know who the starter is or what the offense will look like. It’s irrational to bet on anything one week into practice. Practice that has had little to know public information come out of. And yes, it’s possible that someone who has started 13 games could be better in games 14-26 than he was in his first 13 games. I know one thing, I’m not freaking out and writing the season off. You need to change your screen name to Eeyore.

Shew, I’m done with this. For the sake of Volnation’s collective sanity you should be too.

Hopefully it goes better than I think.

You said he was "unmatched by anyone". That is not true today. Is he competitive again? Yes. Will he win any more majors? Maybe, but the young guns are not intimidated by him like the golfers were back in the day.

Tiger is your hero and I get that. Mickey Mantle was my idol when I was your age.
He’s not my hero and it’s not close. I just love watching him play golf when he’s healthy and competitive...maybe because I wish I had an ounce of his talent in the course.

My hero is Jesus...a man who deserves the status of hero more than anyone.

i'll be the first to admit that he's a giant story in golf, heck, in sports in general. he's a multi generational player. and as long as he plays competitively like he has this year, it'll be a story, and deservedly so.

that said, if you didn't watch BK yesterday and not think that looked like what Tiger USED to do, then i don't know what you saw...Koepka is every bit, if not moreso, the 'freak' tiger was when he was bombing past the players he used to compete against.

i'd say today, golf, competitively, is MUCH better today than it was 20 years ago. Tiger changed the game, and the guys playing it now are the result. they're all really, really good.
Agree 100%. Tiger changed everything about the game. I loved it yday. Would have loved to see Tiger pull it off as it’s a phenomenal story, considering everything he’s been through with his back. However, I said multiple times while watching that Brooks deserved to win, as he answered the bell over and over. It was great entertainment.

so? there's 3 weeks til the 1st game. i'm concerned about a lot of things. i'm not ready to start telling everyone how it's gonna be before WE see a single snap. you've curled up in the fetal position and conceded before we've begun.

chill.

Don't really know that yet. Yesterday was the first time most of those younger guys have been on the course during some real Sunday at a major Tiger crowd moments and a few seemed to be affected by it. Not BK but some of the others definitely took notice. Some even admitted it affected them. I do think some of these young guys can get over that, but you can't say they're not intimidated when yesterday was the first time they've experienced it and only one of them was able to hold steady.
Justin Thomas talked about it on camera, and his reaction when asked, as well as what he did on the course, made it seem like he was affected.
