Let's all get pissed together.

College Football Rankings

CBS has us as the 74th best team in the country, below Arizona State, Arkansas, and Wyoming who just lost their QB to the NFL.

They do have us ranked above Kentucky (80) and Vandy (86), as well as the following other P5 schools:

Baylor (76)
Minnesota (78)
BYU* (83)
Rutgers (84)
Syracuse (88)
Illinois (93)
Virginia (94)
Oregon State (110)
Kansas (114)
I'm glad we are ranked so low. Hopefully, it will give us a chip on our shoulder and cause many to overlook us until we make it so that that cannot.

Wow!!! Ranked below North Carolina and they might not even have enough players to suit up. Fedora probably won’t make it through the season.

No way that’s based on any real data-driven prediction. We still have talent.

To be fair Bill Connellys S&P projection for 2018 has us at 79. Anything that weighs returning production heavily is definitely gonna have us very low

If I have time, i’ll share the data that shows talent matters way more.

Yeah sounds like Kiffin has just coached in the south long enough that he realizes you’ve gotta thump the Bible a bit every now and then or mommas will look at you funny.
I know you're not a religious person but I do think that using God as means for personal gain is wrong. If that's his motive then he and Hugh Freeze need to get together and strategize.

I also don’t think it’s fair to assume or imply he’s not sincere in his spiritual relationship. Especially when you don’t know the person.

I just think it’s something coaches in the south kinda have to do. I don’t mean that they’re all disingenuous, but there are definitely some who do it as a matter of keeping up appearances. If a coach in the south was openly non-religious he’d get murdered by negative recruiting.
