I honestly don’t know what he could bring to that staff other than charting plays, etc

Butch isn’t an idiot. He was a semi successful college coach at multiple stops. He is also very good At STs.

I know we all hate butch but let’s not act like he is a 12u coach.

Without Dobbs making his middle school offense look good he is fired in 2015. Maybe 2014 when we would have finished 4-8.

Man, some DBs got their ankles broken in cat-mouse drill. AlLontae, Labruzza, TK, Warrior and George all whiffed on their man.

Palmer, Murphy, Byrd all had nice moves. 2 walk-ons, too.

I complemented Flowers and Thompson yesterday, but Davis has nice ball-skills too.

Better routes on air period today. Both WRs and QBs crisper.

re: Tillman

Really like his game. He catches the ball with his hands, while a guy like Byrd or Palmer let it get to close to body.

JG sharp in early 7-on-7 work. Was late on 2 throw but still completed passes. Had a strike to Callaway in tight window that was dropped. Then came back with TD to Murphy.

Alontae Taylor just had a slick pick on a deep ball pass from Keller Chryst.

I may be in the minority here, but I’d like to see Dooley be successful in time. I think he’s a personality who could make college football interesting.

He failed here miserably. Could each of you imagine your biggest life failure and embarrassment being aired out in front of millions? From a human perspective I’d like to see someone succeed from that. I’ll say the same for Butch, but let’s give that a few years, LOL.

I like Tillman but he loafed a bit on a go route. JG threw a pretty good ball and it feel incomplete in end zone bc receiver wasn’t running full speed.

Otherwise, the rookie WR has had a nice day though.

On cue, Tillman responds with a great back shoulder catch on a fade.

Shrout really struggling in 11-on-11s. Just threw a pick-six to Labruzza. Couple other INTs and picked balls, too.

Also, several posters who are at the practice have been complimentary of Tillman as well. One described him as a "joy stick player" and another said he looks like an upper tier SEC receiver. TIFWIW.

Looking at the roster, we should have a lot of veteran players next year (2019). Not losing much tbh, minus the DL which will have a lot to replace.
