Drew Locke’s in the defend your younger self’s Tweets sweepstakes. From when he was in MIDDLE SCHOOL! Called a friend a British cigarette and issued a fake Geico commercial where he said “Can Geico save you 15% on your insurance? Do black people like Flaming Hot Cheetos?” Not the N-word...a funny sounding and not demeaning stereotype from the family of white people walk and dance funny and don’t season their potato salad. Pray for us.
He even added a "Hahaha no affence [sic] black guys!”

Honestly I thought it was pretty funny. Back in my HS days I remember having a debate in the locker room over which cheetos were best and there was a clear racial divide in our opinions.

I have to agree with Weezer. I think OSU and Meyer are trying to orchestrate this investigation to see if there's a way he can stay. I think Zach Smith has agreed to fall on his sword and they will find some other AD or admin guys to take the fall. What I don't get is why it would be ok if he did report it and nothing happened and he just let it go. It's like reporting somebody to DCS for child abuse and when they drop the ball you just shrug your shoulders and go on.

The fact that people take offense to everything in today's world is why our country is so divided. Not everything is racist or homophobic or whatever. People need to learn to calm the **** down and not take everything so seriously.

IDK Smith is doubling down in denying he's done anything wrong.

IMO Meyer releasing that statement is his way of taking a stand that he won't be fired for cause. If OSU knew they could fire him for cause, I think they'd probably go ahead and do it and move on. That team is built to sustain itself for a season or two without Meyer and they should be able to roll with an interim and attract just about any coach they want outside of Saban/Kirby/Dabo heading into 2019.

When was the last time OSU made a bad hire? They're way bigger than Urban Meyer.

Again, no way they will do well in their open title IX investigation by admitting it was reported and allowed. I can see Smith and Meyer trying to collaborate but not Ohio State after Meyers statement.

I hope he gets ****-canned, but I won't believe it til it happens. I suspect OSU is trying to find a fall guy in a desperate attempt to save him. I hope I'm wrong.
I think they were hoping firing Smith was the only thing they needed to do. They know they're media a sweetheart and thought they didn't need to do more than that. All of this getting out into the open is easy beyond and fallout plan they had and are scrambling but time knowing they can't use Smith as a fall guy.

I keep waiting to hear Meyer reported it to the assistant of the assistant of the head associate of football relations or some such and that person dropped the ball and has now been fired, but Urban gets to stay.
