Took the tube out of my sister's chest today. Hopefully the tube in her stomach will come out soon. Doc says that she'll need about a year to fully recover, considering everything that's jacked up inside her. Her lungs are showing improvement. Only fear is pancreas right now. Damaged pretty bad. Just gotta prepare her for shoulder, elbow, hip, pelvic bone surgeries. 5 ribs fractured but won't require surgery.

All in all, good news, considering...

Just saw this. All my prayers and best wishes for your sisters full recovery. She and I are on a long road back to normal.

Actually we hit some speed bumps. I found out that my sister's heart stopped as they were cutting her out. She actually died on scene, briefly. They had to shock her to get it back to beating.

She has been slow in recovering mentally. Some days she seems fine, others she seems to not be quite right.

Doctors said she may never work again. Or drive. The 18 year old that hit her was speeding and tried to make the light.

It's been a rough couple months.

My church takes prayer requests from a few people with major (Time sensitive)requests right before the preacher starts his sermon every service.

I have requested prayers for several here. Im glad you posted your sisters name. I know its not a big deal, but I was a little uncomfortable requesting prayer to a congregation for Weezer.

Still praying for Melissa.

Praying for you and your family, in addition to prayers for Melissa. It's exhausting for the family, I know. So glad to hear she's making progress!!

Tell Melissa welcome aboard the walker train! We can start a walker club, just need to think of a name. Hells Angels is taken, how about Rolling Thunder (been having a problem with gas lately). 😁

That's a pretty good turn around from where she was! Good luck with the legal, its always a long process.
