Yesterday Coach Fulmer visited my dear friend and classmate Bayard Erskine. Bayard is one of the most courageous and inspirational people I've every met. He has fought ALS for over 7 years. Bayard is a lifelong Vols fan and rarely misses a game. Coach Fulmer coming to visit and pay tribute to a great Vols fan is just incredible. Thank you Coach Fulmer. LET'S GO VOLS!!!!!
Post of the day. Thank you for sharing!!

I hope we punch them square in the teeth and keep on punching. Old school style baby

That's how we win the game. Limit possessions, control the clock, make the fewest mistakes, and make a huge play on special teams and we have a great chance.

True. And WVU has depth issues on D. I think some people are going to be surprised by how physical this year's team will be.

Just talked to a wvu writer at the gym, he's not nearly as confident as he was a month ago. He interviewed Dana not too long ago, and Dana said this is not a 4-8 Vol team, and that's not what they're preparing for. HE said nothing from last year is applicable. Sounds like they will be starting a backup center. They did not get a grad transfer CB from Ucla due to classes. Said dline is weak.
Went on to say if Grier has anytime at all, they will win by 2-3 tds, if Vols control the clock and run the ball efficiently, he said it's a 3-7 pt game either way...

Didn't they lose their NT in the spring? And they're thin on the D-line and in the secondary? IDK that much about them, other than Grier, but I heard an interview with one of their beat reporters who said they'd need to hang 30 on us and hold us defensively to win. He seemed sure they could do that. I'm not so sure. I think this game is either team's to win.
