Yesterday Coach Fulmer visited my dear friend and classmate Bayard Erskine. Bayard is one of the most courageous and inspirational people I've every met. He has fought ALS for over 7 years. Bayard is a lifelong Vols fan and rarely misses a game. Coach Fulmer coming to visit and pay tribute to a great Vols fan is just incredible. Thank you Coach Fulmer. LET'S GO VOLS!!!!!

8. RB BY COMMITTEE
The Vols have a slew of tailbacks on the roster but only grad transfer Madre London has much experience. With Ty Chandler, Tim Jordan, Jeremy Banks and Princeton Fant, Helton has plenty of intriguing pieces to play will, and he confirmed that the Vols will operate “by committee” this fall.
“In this league, if you run one guy by the end of the season, he’s going to be a dead man, honestly. We got some good stable of running backs. They’re very solid. All those guys will need to roll in and play,” Helton said.
“It’s really not about who the starting guy is. We’re going running back by committee.”

Better make your time count. No off plays. 110% or GTFO.

Practice started at 1 and it’s 1:08 now.

Under Butch we would have already a guy go down with an ACL and another with a labrum tear in warmups

Honestly, that's going to be one of the most intriguing storylines of camp (and the season as a whole), whether we get bit by the injury bug...and how it compares to Butch's tenure. Butch didn't seem to place nearly enough emphasis on conditioning as he preached and I suspect that was a large part of why we had so many injuries.

I don't think JP leaves any room for disagreement, on anything really, but, with the amount of money he's invested in his staff and the weight room, I'd say it's safe to say that gym time is a "make it or break it" scenario for him.

If we have injuries like we did the last 3 years then we are just cursed. No way that **** happens again.

CJP said they intend to play 4-6 RBs this year. It will be interesting to see how the new offense unfolds with WVU. Sounds like Helton wants to run right at them.
Being nitpicky here, but in that quote he said you normally need 4-6 RBs to get through a season. Not necessarily that we’ll play 4-6.

Anybody with any discernment whatsoever should have known that it was highly likely that ol Scurvy Urbie was going to run into trouble at some point.

He is a slimy bastard, and it seems like these kind of guys are finding it harder and harder to not get found out in today's world.

As bad as I totally hate Saban, I just don't see him in the same light...I respect him, I have never respected CUM, and have always maintained he is a fraud as a human being.
I thought he learned from his Florida experience and was applying it pretty well with his second chance. Some of the recruiting stuff confirmed that he’s still slimy...but a coaching giant gets a pass. This flub was for supporting a disease that he felt protective towards. Zach Smith always came off as a douche on social media. It’s obvious he wasn’t anymore of a joy in person. Ignoring what was happening makes Urban only slightly less culpable. Guess the bill comes for everybody eventually.

At SEC Media Days? He did say that, but then he said something else about "We'll need them all." or "We'll play them all." I could be wrong, but that stuck in my mind. He's commented before that we'll use all our RBs that are ready to play.

I think we'll play at least Chandler, Jordan, London, Banks and Fant. Then there's Trey Coleman, another bigger back that's probably going to get carries. So that's six. You don't think they'll all play?
