Quick update on my custody situation.... went to court yesterday and as my lawyer prepared me for, a continuance was filed on account of my ex being checked into rehab and unable to attend court. It actually wasn't rehab - it was a hospital where she was supposed to be detoxing and they wouldn't release her because her vitals were all over the place. Had been there for about 10 days or so.

I keep full custody of the kids and everything, so I'll be enrolling them in school here and all of that. And we were able to go to her house (her family has a key) and retrieve some toys/clothes the kids wanted and needed.

Coincidence or not... she was able to check out last night and returned home instead of rehab it appears. I found that out this morning. Kind of feels like she manipulated the system here, but maybe I'm just jaded and frustrated with the situation.

At least you have your kids right now. Small miracles are still miracles. I'll be praying for you and your kids. Just let them know that they can always depend on you.

POA was dealing with a similar situation. You've got my prayers too POA.

Glad you got full custody. I'm sure your kids will appreciate what you're doing for them.

I did get a message from POA's gofundme page today.

"Child custody to remove from abuse I have obtained full temporary custody. Their mother is supposed to watch them every other weekend and for a few hours each Wednesday. She has forfeited her days a few time..."


I'm glad for everyone who get's their kids out of these situations.

WE are Volnation... I agree... Volnation is the fans of the Volunteers... Maybe it’s a silly pet peeve but it sounds ridiculous to me when fans of a team talk like they’re actively on the roster lol
