The delight is in the fact that we are not caught up in part a scandal (now domestic abuse) with what could have been our HC.

Sorry Mr. Gottlieb, your lame attempt to blame Schiano's transgressions at PSU and any, if at all, involvement in the domestic abuse coverup at OSU on the feet of the UT fanbase is lame, lazy, and borderline unethical.

Loved the Helton/Sherrer interviews. Down to earth, know their stuff, answered the questions directly, nothing to prove to anybody. Real SEC football coaches.

Also love seeing these sanctimonious OSU/Schiano loving sports commentators dragged by Vol fans.

That's the thing, he needs to splice and edit to make things sound way more bombastic than what they are.

I'm not defending Urban or the program that he ran/runs, but this O'Keefe guy is a douche of the highest (lowest?) caliber.

Is the national media really this out of touch? Can they not see the forest for the trees? The reason he is not a head coach somewhere is a direct result of the baggage he brings. Tennessee was not the catalyst here, Tennessee was a reaction to his baggage along with a greater revolt against the powers that be at that time.

If the reward outweighed the risk he brings then he would have had jobs at a dozen other schools already lined up. The national media can't in one sentence say that Tennessee would be lucky to have him and are delusional then in the next sentence say Tennessee is the reason he can't get a job. Do they really think the rest of the coaching fraternity and AD's fall in line with the delusional? Seems to me the delusional ones here are the media.

It's very simple. 100% the Tennessee episode tainted Schiano forever. Fair or not he is unhirable now especially in a spot like is happening at Ohio State.

Much the same many of us would never trust any female alone with AJ Johnson ever again.

Fair or not it's the truth
