Urban Meyer is screwed. Good riddance to the sociopath.

More than likely his wife is done professionally also. As an instructor of nursing at the OSU college of nursing, there are ethical standards that need to be upheld by medical professionals. The nurses she instruct(ed) are almost always included in state and federal mandatory reporting statutes. Meaning that if you as a provider suspect your patient is subject to domestic abuse, you have to report this abuse to law enforcement authorities, or else you could be liable if something happens to your patient as a result of your failing to report abuse. There's no way she can stay on in this role having failed to report such domestic abuse.

And somehow Nick Saban is going to keep winning NCs at Bama and retire at 85 and then live to be 110 with no scandals about him breaking during his lifetime.

Saban's a jerk, but he isn't a sleaze like Urban.

I want him to go away because I'm tired of him, but credit where it's due -- he's a generational talent as a head coach, and he's earned it.

This Chief character is apparently in the head of this whole board badly. In my opinion it is the sign of a board that has a systemic illness. I have seen message boards completely die when that illness sets in. He always reminded me of the character named Joe Vols that went around purposely taking the opposite View of the rest of the board and eventually came to completely dominate the conversations because he was apparently supplying a source of entertainment for that board I've been lurking here for a long time. I'm not going to supply this kind of entertainment for you because I just don't enjoy it. I'll just go back to lurking and hope I don't have to Wade through this crap anymore that dominates several Pages at a time

The odds of some fireable offenses being in his closet after 10 years at Bama are 100%, IMO (especially with their recruiting prowess and the egos/blue-chippers/bag men/handlers he's had to manage over that time). I think he just has everything locked down in Tuscaloosa so well that there's no way anyone or anything could take him down, short of him shooting someone on live TV.

Liability in this particular instnce aside, it is such a horrible look for the College of Nursing to keep her on as an instructor when patient safety and quality of care is at the forefront of a nursing education. I don't see any way she can keep that position moving forward, especially when Urbs is going to be on his way out.
