Title 9 is no joke, if there is verifiable information he knew of the incident they will be forced to remove him immediately

Firing Urban means tOSU knowingly hired someone with a domestic violence record because their compliance department should have uncovered the arrest. They won't have any grounds to stand on with lawsuit(s). They'll take the bad PR and allow Urban to step down after the season. Jmo

My opinion is he’s working on a buyout right now.

He’s done. They’ll let Schiano or Kevin Wilson be interim for a year and then they’ll hire Bob Stoops.

I definitely think they'll advise him to step down, but I think they'll do it sooner rather than later. Your opinion sounds plausible also.

Umm...that would be like a season long public burning at the stake...that would be a stupid move.

In the current social climate, the pressure will be too large to let this continue. I don't think he survives the day.

I just don't see tOSU firing him after signing off on Smith. Urban may decide it's better to step down and go watch the grandkids grow.

No idea on this. Just a hunch based on similar stories. Shucks, Stephen A. Smith went on a tirade wanting Butch fired over the university-wide sex lawsuit, and there wasn't a smoking gun on that one. It's gotten widespread national press coverage now, so the pressure is far greater now.

Two weeks after the Oct. 25, 2015 incident, a Nov. 5, 2015 text exchange between Lindsey Voltolini and Courtney shows Meyer talked to Zach Smith about the incident.

Lindsey is the wife of Brian Voltolini, considered one of Meyer’s most loyal staff members. Brian is Ohio State’s football operations director and has been part of Meyer’s staffs for 15 seasons at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State.

Courtney: “(Zach’s) trying to make me look crazy bc that’s what Shelley is saying (he’s doing)”
Lindsey: “He (Urban) just said he (Zach) denied everything”
Courtney: “I hope urban is smarter than that”
Lindsey: “He (Urban) doesn’t know what to think”
Courtney: “I don’t really care. Ya know”
Lindsey: “Yeah, don’t worry about urb”
