He only wrote about the text messages today. Was there a story before this?
The first story about the abuse coming out was when Smith was fired, which was over a week ago now. McMurphy was the one who broke all the info initially.

>Be ESPN
>Fire actual journalists like Brett McMurphy who actually break news and do investigations
>Promote divisive figures like Jemele Hill because "muh politics" belong on sports programming according to John Skipper and Bob Iger
>Internally ESPN ends up with employee unrest and resentment, subscribers leaving ESPN in droves, their "Woke" programming failing miserably, and rights partners are now in a situation where their business relationships are devalued and at risk
>?????????
>ESPN is now a giant liability for Disney

Hopefully McMurphy gets picked up someone like Fox Sports

Time to play everyone's favorite Endzone game, the 3 Jessicas. This should tell us where people stand.

Is it Alba?

Is it Biel?

Or is it Simpson?

Pick your favorite.

Freak, your participation is needed.

Yes

As Clay Travis noted in his article. The guy who broke the story had to do it on Facebook because ESPN fired him. So I'm sure there's some legal reason it's not on there. Brett probably won't give them permission.

I appreciate that Clay Travis gave credit to him.

Crazy year? Work or personal? Crazy good, I hope.

Modding isn't all it's cracked up to be. I figured you were over it. lol. Besides, I thought maybe we could have a VolNation duel between you and Sarge. Winner gets to be killed and loser has to mod this place. :)

I just banned like 10 people.
Crazy with work and unfortunately not on the good side... but all good now.

Me vs. Sarge - i like the sound of that, but the outcomes seem a bit off :)

Therein lies the fallacy that these guys are journalists. They are not journalist they are freaking sports writers. People at the News Sentinel for some reason got the idea that they were supposed to be pulling the Watergate style investigation on the football team because that was the only thing going on in Knoxville. The adamses and Lundys for some reason got the idea that they were supposed to be Woodward and Bernstein. Of course there was aperiod where it was like this all the way across the country, but for some reason in Knoxville they are still living by their dreams of winning a Pulitzer Prize for the yellow journalism.

I'll say this, if the same Urban story was placed on virtually any other coach in the country they would be unemployed by 5 pm today. We shall see what happens.
