Okay... but those points came against ECU, Del State, Kansas, and Baylor. Not exactly impressive.
Against VT they scored 24, against TCU they scored 24, Iowa State: 20, KSU: 24. When they played decent teams they didnt score much at all. Why are points against ECU and Dell State impressive? We scored 41 against GT and 42 against Indiana state. We stunk on offense last year so scoring points against teams like that doesnt meant theyre this explosive, unstoppable offense
Another factor for our D last year was how poor our offense was. Multiple 3 and outs with a no huddle offense is terrible for a D. If our O this year can improve ball control / TOP better then expect that to improve our D as well.Unfortunately, our defense last season more closely resembled ECU, Del. State, Kansas, and Baylor than VT and KSU. While I expect improvement this season, how much at this point is as yet an unknown. But I do know if we can't stop the run or generate a pass rush, Grier and WV's offense will light us up, so how quickly our front 7 responds to the new scheme and training by Game 1 is key. Learning a new scheme is generally never a quick thing, so I definitely have concerns about the first swasin, much less the first game. But it also seems these guys were never properly taught in the old scheme, so maybe there won't be as much to unlearn.
Fools gold. They have put together great classes for over a decade. Haven’t sniffed the SEC championship yet.
They really should be called avatars and not avi's but oh well.It took me a few sightings of "avi" here before I realized that some may be too new to computers to know what that is.
AVI File Extension - What is an .avi file and how do I open it?
So now I know to stop looking for videos every time someone says "avi".
