I am really rooting for him as I live ten minutes away from his high school and would love to see a hometown guy perform well for the vols. Just curious about the reasons for optimism about Lane and would love to be filled in on what everyone's take on him is. Particularly this staff's take on him.

I think its because he is projected to play center, and we don't have another one on campus after Kennedy.

Highest ranking was #684 on 247 sports. 5.5 on Rivals. 3 star across the board..but then again i don’t see many recruiting sites making their way to Gibbs
