'19 WV OL Darnell Wright (Tennessee signee)

Been in it all along. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs better intel. Not a troll post. Just sayin'.

Bama is recruiting Evan Neal too tho. If Neal decides he wants in and Wright wants to keep shopping they might take Neal instead. Idk if that's the case for sure, but it might be. They like Neal A LOT.

HAhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Hill, Burrell, Bogle, Crouch are big-time players, but this is the guy I want the Vols to get the most. Would be absolutely huge.

just imagine DW and Wanya as our bookends and the big boys we got on the interior.... yeeeeesh

few years down the road our OL could be this:

Wanya - Lampley - Ollie Lane - Chris Akporoghene - Darnell Wright

 amazing

Let’s not forget Carvin and Jahmir Johnson. Bryn Tucker coming in after this 2019 class too. We have some big people.

People seem to be really high on Ollie Lane and I have not heard much about him. Have the staff made comments or indications that he is performing well in camp or projects to be a starter on the line in the future? I am really rooting for him as I live ten minutes away from his high school and would love to see a hometown guy perform well for the vols. Just curious about the reasons for optimism about Lane and would love to be filled in on what everyone's take on him is. Particularly this staff's take on him.

Thanks

yeah, and trey smith will be here at least thru next year as well.

if we CONTINUE to get the guys we're going after, the O line won't be a problem for very long.

I think its because he is projected to play center, and we don't have another one on campus after Kennedy.

also local boy who was a 4 star on a site or two.

Highest ranking was #684 on 247 sports. 5.5 on Rivals. 3 star across the board..but then again i don’t see many recruiting sites making their way to Gibbs

Anyone know if this is head head coach? I know his coach is a big UT fan, just curious (and yes, I’m obviously trying to get back on subject lol)

That's not the head coach. The head coach is Billy Seals. Here's his page.

“Teams have beaten Alabama recently for recruits, so Tennessee has an advantage for being the early favorite for him. He has people around him who like Tennessee and it’s a little bit closer to home, so there are some advantages for Tennessee. It’s hard to beat Alabama for anybody you want, but Tennessee has a really good shot here."
