Josh Dobbs (merged)

The MVP will be Aaron Rodgers in 2018. I've been saying that for months now. Dobbs will most likely finish 2nd.

I think Dobbs will get Offensive Player of the Year over Kamara. I'm hopeful Alvin has another amazing season. I just don't think the Saints will be as good as they were last year which will hurt him in the awards voting.

Saints are one of my picks for teams with a lot of hype that I expect to disappoint this season. I don't have them making the playoffs.

You heard it here, based on these last two posts, Saints and Jags in the Super Bowl!

Jags are on the Steelers schedule this year so Dobbs will get to play them in the regular season. I expect Josh to LIGHT THEM UP. Steelers will also win easily.

Unfortunately, I don't see anyway Dobbs will play them in the playoffs since the Jags won't make it.

With his legs? Won't be with his arm .. take that to the bank

Looks like this is going to be a watershed season for D4H predictions. He needs sooooooo very much to go right to keep the sheer mass of wrong to be crushing. I mean, he's deep into the "this has to happen or I look like an idiot"* end of the pool. Take this last bit...he's on the hook now for (among many other things) needing to have the recently voted #5 and #18 players in the entire NFL be supplanted by a guy that's literally needing to ball out in the preseason just to make the team and a 3rd rounder that ran a 4.65 at the combine.

Possible? OK, but so is winning the Powerball.

*I realize the board is awash already with vettable idiocy but I'm talking about BIG observation/predictions that are just too obvious to ignore.

I don't know if you're aware of this, but injuries do happen in football. Both Big Ben and Le'Veon are injury prone players who have missed time over their career due to injury. Last year was an abnormally healthy season for both. Which only means that they are due this year.

I believe that once they are inserted into the lineup in place of an injured Big Ben and injured Le'Veon, Josh Dobbs and James Conner will not give those jobs back. They'll basically do what Dak did in 2016 to Tony Romo. They'll play so well that even when Big Ben and Bell are back healthy, the Steelers will choose to ride with the hot hands that are leading them to the Super Bowl.

I told you guys before the draft in 2017 that Josh Dobbs and James Conner were ELITE talents. This is the year they prove themselves.

He'll use both. Arm and Legs. Same thing he'll do to everyone else this season.

I expect Dobbs to have around 3,700 yards passing and 750 yards rushing this season. Along with 30-35 total TDs.

He'll be the ultimate weapon in the NFL. A player that dominates both running and passing.

What I am most aware of is the enormous chasm that divides what you've historically predicted and what has demonstrably occurred. I was quite clear in basically stating such a thing is "possible" followed by the metaphorical reference to winning the Powerball. Since we're citing all 4 players in this scenario the Powerball odds might actually be more favorable.

Hell I’ll name 15 QBs better then Dobbs over last 15 years in 10 min probably less

But

Dak
Aaron Murray
Nick Marshall
Jamarcus the bust
Jalen Hurts
Eli
Cam
Tebow
Manziel
Connor Shaw super underrated btw
Stafford
Leak

But the funny part you think after one year away from butch as third string he gonna handle a defense that was that close to the SB after in 10 yr drought and they was babies bro lol still getting better

Jags are Sacksonville baby and guess what all these studs still babies in this league only getting better

That's cool .. your expectations for him are so far from what WILL really happen it doesn't matter. Doubt he has 37 yards passing much less 3,700. He just isn't the quality of passer you think he is. When he does none of what you predict, I would just like you to come on and admit you know nothing about judging QBs and state how you will go back through all the posts where we told you what was really going on that you refused to see and maybe learn a few things. So again, positions you have proven to know nothing about:

QB
OL
LB
RB

In about 3-4 years, most people will be agreeing me.

Dobbs will have 3 Super Bowl titles in 4 years as a starter and the GOAT talk will intensify.

So lets go back to what I was trying to tell you a long time ago. Mike Tomlin is overrated... No way 3 out of 4 will happen.

I know Mike Tomlin isn't the best coach around but he does already have a Super Bowl title and he made it to another one losing to Aaron Rodgers. I didn't consider either one of those Steelers teams to be loaded so you gotta give Tomlin some credit there. Also Big Ben is nowhere near as good as Josh Dobbs. That'll make a huge difference.

The talent on the Steelers will be too good for Tomlin to screw up. Dobbs, Conner, Brown, and JuJu on offense will be something special. And then with Dobbs, Conner, and JuJu on their rookie deals, the Steelers will be able to spend that free agent money to improve the defense.

Steelers will have a dynasty coming up and it'll be powered by their 2017 draft class.

I've noted many times how nobody spends more time claiming to be right in the future while being wrong in the present than D4H. He gives David Meade's credibility a run for the money.

Yep.

You seriously need help man. I really believe you have some sort of mental deficiency. No QB would ever be talked about as the GOAT after only 4 years as a starter. Please seek some help asap.

I honestly just don't see it.

I honestly just don't see it.

Don't worry, no one else does either ... even D4H. It's like if you're almost completely blind but you swear that's a tiger up in front of you and no one else sees it but they do see a yellow fire hydrant, well, it's still just a fire hydrant no matter what the blind guy thinks it is.

That first highlighted line is just ridiculous and there's nothing to legitimize it, especially considering you said it.

The second highlight is something you said about UT prior to last season with regards to Butch. Fact is, Tomlin is a very good coach and players want to play for him.

Big Ben will finish this year and next year as starter, Mason Rudolph will start getting some spot play toward the end of this year and parts of next (kind of the way GB did with Aaron Rodgers), Dobbs will get cut, find his way on a practice squad, then give up football to go do masters work in jet propulsion and work on Space X. 1000000x more likely scenario.

He's 100% trolling and just talking crap, evidenced by his cowardice to actually bet money on his predictions.

He's all bark and no bite. Cojones the size of raisins and a spine made of jelly.
