Special counsel Mueller charges 12 Russian intelligence officers with hacking Democra

That's utterly ridiculous. The party in charge didn't respond accordingly because they didn't want to give the appearance of taking action in favor of Clinton ... and they thought she would win anyway.

...and quite some time? The full extent of Russia's aggressive tactics weren't known until late August - about 2 1/2 months before the election.

Don Quixote

So, if the government silly said that foreign actors were actively trying to influence our election through Facebook and other online sources that people would say it was to help Clinton?

I don’t think your head is in the sand. I think it is somewhere else.

This is so stupid. If Obama had said that Russia was responsible for the hacking of the DNC, the spreading of fake news stories on social media, as well as the hacking of Podesta's personal e-mails and the dissemination of those stolen e-mails (after being sufficiently weaponized) on WikiLeaks in effort to damage Clinton and aid Trump, some people would certainly have interpreted that as an effort to help the Clinton campaign and many would not have believed him anyway ... but he still should have done it.

Don't you remember the debate in Vegas, when Trump said that the hacks might have been done by Russia, but they might also have been done by China or some 400 lb guy sitting on his bed? He has defended Russia at every turn throughout this investigation and his sheep (such as yourself) have swallowed every bit of it.

Indulge me.

What possible reason could they have for going against Tammy Duckworth?

She is a liberal democrat who was challenging an incumbent Republican in a blue state that Republicans had hopes of keeping. Make no mistake that the Russians were on the side of Trump in 2016 and they didn't just want him to win the election, they wanted him to have a majority in the Senate as well. They were working toward that end. It amazes me how little credit you seem willing to give them after everything we know.

No other explanation for hacking Illinois makes any sense.

That is the thing about President Trump that I enjoy as the liberal media cannot decipher satire from belief at a political rally. He is brilliant at satire, while at the same time totally non PC at an executive level.

It is up to u to determine satire from reality. The only reality I see is winning for our nation and citizens.

Sheep follow blindly, never asking for proof. Remind me, what proof has Mueller put forth to the public, and kindly remember that "so and so says it's true" is not actual proof.

Very wild accusation. Where is the proof? Conspiracy theories can be fun, but when you have nothing to back it up, you just look crazy.

It's conjecture on my part for sure. If someone has a better theory as to why the Russians would hack election offices in Illinois in 2016, I'll listen to it.

Here's a crazy idea... they did it because they tried other places and they found a way in in Illinois

I'd love to hear your explanation for them trying to hack Georgia. Think they were afraid the Democrats would win Agriculture Commissioner and stop exporting peanuts?

As political as things always seem... I really think what we're going to find is a general strategy to destabilize and undermine without regard for winners and losers.

My belief as well. Destabilizing is what they were trying to accomplish

Remove you head from where it is and read it again. Why say who? Just leave it at foreign actors and what they are doing. Has one person came forward and said they changed their vote to trump because of wiki or Facebook?

It is impossible to have an adult conversation with you because you believe that the wiki leak and Facebook memes caused Hillary to lose instead of excepting the fact that she took several blue states for granted. Even President Clinton said he told them to campaign there and they still didn’t.

Please, enlighten us. Show us any proof of this.

I can point you toward some things we have ACTUAL proof of.

It’s because Russia gets under y’alls skin. That’s why, he’s totally playing you man. You’ll never get it. Bottom line, he don’t give a sh!t about Russia, he just plays the game to make you look more ridiculous, because he knows he never did anything remotely close to the Russia Russia Russia hoax. C’mon man, wise up.

Could easily play into control of the peanut black market.

Heck, as far as we know, I would venture to say that just because u vote does not mean it is even counted? How does one know?

The voting process itself is open to manipulation. Bags of votes in the back of cars uncounted, etc.

Paper ballots with voter ID, which dims despise for some reason, and a receipt of vote and a notification to the voter of how they voted. Probably a can of worms, but at least some verification other than someone can change digitally.

We gotta have voter ID just to begin to secure our process.

LBJ always had a few boxes of "lost" ballots just in case the opposition flanked his machine.

I’m just sayin’, from a non-partisan perspective...
If the Mueller team is trying to be nonpartisan, why would they announce the Russian indictment days before Trump’s meeting with Putin?
Wierd at a minimum.

Former Assistant Sec. of State Robert Charles: "This president's been in office 570 days and it's a little bit odd that 3 days or 4 days before his first summit with the Russian leader, these indictments pour out."
