He refused to acknowledge the very real threat of cyber-meddling before the 2016 election and did nothing about it.

Pretty obviously relevant.

He shouldn't ever be elected again. His inaction is a disqualifying event.

Now..... about the cyber attacks that are going on now, what going to be done?

Shrugging and blaming Obama's ineptitude isn't helping.

****ing crazy libs. Obama is bowing to Muslim leaders. Making tarmac payments to countries with state sponsored terroism and tells his cyber chief to stand down when asked what to do about known cyber attacks. Now, suddenly, the leftist nuts are feigning outrage!

STFU

That's just it. None of us know. Nor do we know what's being done behind the scenes right now. Seems like an awful lot of wasted anxiety over things you don't know. A wait and see approach will probably help you sleep better and live longer.

Less of that nasty anxiety you seem to be dealing with, Sep.

It's all fake and manufactured. Except for Septic's trolling, it's pretty much all just a case of uncontrolled emotional outbursts because they still haven't come to grips with such a crushing, last second loss.

This is little different than keying the opposing team's bus after losing to your worst rival with no time left on the clock, after a hail mary pass from their own 40 yard line.

I'm starting to believe the left won't be happy until Trump declares war against Russia.

And then they'll change their stance and criticize him for going to war against Russia.

Personally, I won't be happy (politically speaking of course) until Trump is out of office.

Do anything? He did. He told his cyber chief to stand down.

Obama cyber chief confirms '''stand down''' order against Russian cyberattacks in summer 2016

Instead, Obama officials chose another course of action after becoming frustrated that Republican leaders on Capitol Hill would not endorse a bipartisan statement condemning Russian interference and fearful that any unilateral action by them would feed then candidate Donald Trump’s claims that the election was rigged. They chose a private “stern” warning by Obama to Russian President Vladimir Putin at a summit in China in early September 2016 to stop his country’s campaign to disrupt the U.S. election.

Obama officials were also worried that a vigorous cyber response along the lines Daniel had proposed could escalate into a full scale cyber war. And, they have since argued, they believed that the president’s warning had some impact, noting — as Daniel did in his testimony — that they saw some tamping down in Russian probing of state election data systems after Obama’s private talk with Putin.

Why would the Republicans have joined Obama in condemning Russian interference? First, their bread and butter was tapping into the seething resentment within their base that hated the black guy in office and to join him in anything risked irking the base. Second, they were benefitting from Russian interference.

I know, but those of you on the left keep denying this is all about being sore losers, even though everyone else knows it is.

It's funny. When Dems thought Hillary would win it was all, "The election is not rigged!" When Hillary lost, the Dems were all, "The election was rigged!" All of this is basically a hissy fit because they didn't get their way.

It's not that complicated. If a ref makes five horrible calls that all go against your team but you win anyway, the fans don't say to much. If they make those same horrible calls against your team and you lose on the last play, the fans will go ballistic.

A statement? Why waste the words?

It has nothing to do with being sore losers.

Sure it is. If Hillary had won, this would be a non-issue. But she lost, so you have to find a reason. You have to have something to blame rather than accepting Trump won. He played to the electoral college, unlike Hillary, and he won. And because of that, the rest of us are subject to your daily tantrums.

I believe most nations with highly developed intelligence services - including the U.S. - probably do the same in some form or another. We know the last administration "meddled" in elelections in Israel.

Perhaps Trump will tell Putin to "cut it out". Would that be enough for you to quell the outrage?
