Yeah. Whomever that candidate is might need to be a tad nervous right now.

But would that really be different from the Clinton campaign commissioning the "study" (including a hack job by a half baked foreign spy) of Trump that became the document that Mueller used to open up the whole can of worms? And candidates have been digging wherever since the beginning of time to find and sometimes plant dirt on the opposition. Politics is a very very nasty business - especially the election/campaigning part.

One is knowingly obtaining stolen emails. Don't think Steele knowingly obtained stolen documents, at least to my knowledge.

FAKE NEWS!!!!! Witch Hunt! But her emails! Lock her up! Flynn is an American hero! Benghazi!

Amirite?

What?
Seriously. The investigation blames the Russians for Russian hacking? Wow

No allegation that ANY American conspired or played a role. No allegation that this affected ONE single vote. That is per the presser.

So, what you saying?? Please enlighten us.

Yep. So the Rissians acted to insert themselves into our election process yet the release clearly states no American knowingly or wittingly acted with them. This is exactky what Trump has been claiming all along.

It doesn't say that. It merely says that they aren't claiming that any American knowingly conspired with Russia. A lack of positive assertion is not of itself the presence of a negative assertion.

Gotta love how the evidence continues to mount that Trumplestilskin (I think that might actually be his GRU code name) is an illegitimate president and his supporters find a line that says this particular set of indictments does not implicate Americans. Seize on that and ignore the indictments of Americans that have come. Ignore Trump's own actions.

Trump's fall from grace will be matched only by the amount of grovelling you will have to do in admitting we on the left were right about him all along.

You mean the indictments of Amiercans that still have nothing to do with Russian collusion?

I think he and Putin will probably have a good laugh about how incompetent the DNC and Hillary in particular were. You know... having a personal server at home while conducting official state business... Debbie WassermanSchultz leaving her laptops at God-knows-where. And then there's the Weiner dog...

The special counsel's investigation should be centered on who lost classified documents rather than who got them. Security has always been the responsibility of the holder, and it is always assumed that someone else would try to take sensitive materials. It's the very reason we put locks on our doors, but the locks do no good unless the owner uses them properly.

I'll bet you, just like I, have attended bunches of security classes and training, and all have hammered that security is the responsibility of everyone ... to keep stuff secure. Just like you say Mueller is looking in all the wrong places, and trying to hold the wrong people responsible. I'd bet the record on US and Russian/Soviet election meddling is running neck and neck.

To the best of my knowledge (ability to remember or willingness to sift through all the crap), Steele interviewed some pretty shady characters and amassed a batch of questionable "data" from them. I think you'd have to pretty much presume that he was either dealing with pilfered materials, people who took them, or others who had access to them. Don't your kind refer to that as "fruit of the poison tree"?

Whomever it is, as politically charged as this whole situation is, the Comgressman will become collateral damage regardless of intent or reasoning I think. And again I hope it isn’t Brian Mast.

“There is no allegation in the indictment that the charged conduct altered the vote count or changed the outcome of the 2016 election.”

Suck it up butter cup.

Jason Chaffets retired really fast, shame too cause I liked him.

Then again Paul Ryan is on the way out and he's kinda wishy washy.

Gowdy is going ape sh!t in all of the hearings, hmm.

Just throwing these out as thoughts.

Just kidding, it's liddle Adam Schiff 100%

You got him now!

Not claiming that at all. Just that the timing of the Trump Tower meeting, the promise of dirt on Hillary, Donny's open desire to get that dirt, and then the launching of DC Leaks website should be looked into. Maybe a coincidence, but something that should be ferreted out.

The timing of this is actually more interesting.

Meh. Still a reach to me. I think this whole meeting narrative assumes knowledge and intent on the Trump Campaign’s behalf that just hasn’t materialized to date. If it did I think there would have been indictments.

We’ve got Hills email server. You’ve got the Trump tower meeting. Personally I think the email server has more factual support to date. But of course I would feel that way! 😬
