FBI Trump-hater Strozk to testify publicly

Carl, that’s different and you know it. They only screech when a R does it.

Kind of like the screeching over the Hillary e-mail "scandal" compared to the Bush e-mail scandal (which was FAR worse).

They both were terrible. Now lets just agree that the government is corrupted and prosecute one of these guys to make an example instead of being partisan. We, you and I collectively, should not care where corruption originates from only that it is not tolerated. If Trump is a colluder prosecute him. If Hillary or anyone involved with her is a con prosecute her. We should have one voice when it comes to this.

quote of yesterday:

"I don't give a damn what you appreciate, Agent Strzok," Gowdy fired back, saying he doesn't appreciate an "FBI agent with an unprecedented level of animus working on two major investigations."

For once, I wish both sides would just say “yeah, thats bad” and just do the right thing.

Of course yeah It was far worse. Did he crush his phones and was his server in his butlers closet?

No nothing that horrible. They were just illegally hiding the fact that they were fabricating the story of proof of Iraqi possession of WMDs so the world could be tricked into going to war.

I agree. I have said all along that all should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest. Let the investigations play out.

The problem with whataboutism is the third option... Not defending anyone based on party affiliation.

I would absolutely love to see the Bushes in prison for life, as well as Chaney. They were sewer rats in suits with titles.

And Hillary needs to be in jail, as well as Trump if any credible evidence of misdeeds comes to light.

The problem with your whataboutism is that it's little more than an agreement between hypocrites to be a hypocrite. And as long as you party-defending hypocrites keep defending criminals, there will remain a law for us, the people, and another for the powerful elite.

Can we agree that Strozk tainted the investigation? Can you envision a successful prosecution of Trump when ths fox was in the hen house? The clear answer is no. Do we trash the investigation? Probably. Start over with a new team? Thats what needs to happen. It won’t, but needs to.

Don’t forget about one of Tennessee’s finest:

"Mr. Strzok, I don't know where to start," Cohen said as he started his allotted five minutes. "If I could give you a Purple Heart, I would. You deserve one."

That rings very hollow when you were also saying all along that she's been the innocent victim of a vast right wing conspiracy and the evil repubs shouldn't have been investing her so much--despite the innumerable scandals she's been embroiled in.

Since when is Memphis part of Tennessee?

I don't think Strozk tainted the investigation. I would assume at least 80% of the upper levels of the FBI feel the same way about Trump.

Detectives can investigate a crime while hating the criminal and still be professional.

Sure they can. But most of them aren't dumb enough to put it in writing and create a PR problem.

He was taken off the case because of perceived bias. He would have been taken off in the very beginning if that bias had been perceived at the beginning. Thus, he tainted the investigation with every minute he was on it.

The texts prove that he prejudged both Trump and Hillary--Trump as guilty unto conviction and a Hillary as innocent unto the presidency. There is no way to say otherwise and retain a speck of intellectual honesty.

What I saw yesterday was the GOP asked actual indepth piercing questions. Now on occasion, the GOP got potentially too aggressive, but rarely. The GOP did have a few embarrassing moments indeed...but the Dems, OMG they were something else.

The Dems would only grand stand and blame the GOP (or talk about other subjects) of trying to give the FBI a bad name. They basically cheered, aided and abetted Strozk throughout the entire day. It’s sad the Dems actually could care a less what this guy may have done that's unethical or potentially illegal, all because he's an anti-Trumper.
