Not everyone was as impressed as yourself. Republican Rep. Mark Meadows (R - NC 11th District), who is also the Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, had this to say about Gohmert's questioning of Strzok during that wild exchange:

"That's a line of questioning that I would never see as appropriate."

So that's one who's not going to defend him And I guess since he's the leader of the loony ward, the other freedom caucus wackadoos will fall in line with Meadows. After all, they all do have a rather sheepish quality.

Without going back through the last 13 pages, is it safe to assume that rational people all agree that the Strozk finally had his day and laid to rest that he is a boogeyman for the anti trump FBI?

Cause' from what I saw, he laid an epic verbal beatdown on jock sniffing trump window lickers.

Of course not one of the Dimwits that I heard "questioning" him said anything other than straight up deflection. Yes it was partisan, but to say that Strozk was removed from suspicion is ludicrous.

Strozk was biased. Whether or not that bias played any role in the investigation will never be proven one way or the other, but the Dimwits had no intention of asking the hard question.

We do know that Mueller removed Strzok from his investigation a year ago, which was as soon as he became aware of the content of Strzok's texts to Page. That is what makes this show today such a big nothing. If the Republicans' goal was to impugn Mueller, they really did just the opposite.

Your unprovoked personal attack notwithstanding, my immediate assumption is that this didn't play out at all how you'd predicted.

You probably assumed, based on your Breitbart/fox news bullet points and sound bites that this dog and pony inquisition was going to be easier than shootin' Dem fish in a barrel.

It must have been as painful for you to watch as it was for the GOP to live. Thinking it's going to play out one way and then having their asses handed to them so logically and effectively.

Painful? Other than watching the partisan hackery going on for the 45 minutes of the hearings I did watch I was more disgusted than anything. What is funny is that this douchebag has become the patron saint of the Dimwit party.
