The Official 2nd Amendment Appreciation Thread

On another note...I really need to stay out of the PF. The dumbassery displayed by some posters over there has gone from "entertaining" to "there's no way that sperm cell was the fastest swimmer".

Seriously.

FWIW, I enjoy your posts. You are level headed and bring real facts to the conversation. Don’t let them run you off.

(If you want, I’ll slap them around some) 😎

Added a .308 Mossberg Patriot with a Vortex Crossfire II to the collection today. Really nice rifle/scope combo for an even better price.

The only thing GV enjoys about me...and he really enjoys it...is keeping me in hot water with CinC-House, otherwise known as "The Long-Haired Mess Cook", but when she's within earshot it's "Yes, Dear".

And he's good at it.....

:)

Eventually, I'm going to get you in real trouble by convincing you that Knights Armament is the best thing you need.

About to buy a Vortex Spitfire Prism sight for my AR. Anyone have any experience with these before I drop $250?

You heard?

Just a personal thing with me. I despise the Beretta.

20 years of having craptastic triggers will do that to you. As well as finding out just how much they hate sand in my various trips overseas.

Don't get me started on the barrel rust...

I should have been more specific in my post.

You know where I am. Check the local news here. Two stories that should catch your eye. And yes, I know both of them.

But I'm with you on the Beretta. We transitioned from the 1911 to the 92M while I was in the service. Hated it. Especially with those buffalo-stopper 115 gr FMJ's.

Like everything else, folks either love something or they hate it. I shot a friends Wilson combat modified 92 centurion and it sold me in a big way. 6lb double action trigger that doesn’t have light primer strikes and a single action that breaks at 3.5 lbs. What’s not to like. I figure the Langdon is a slightly cheaper alternative and it has a coated barrel and other desirable features of a range gun. I always kinda liked the 92, especially the vertec, so here’s a chance to get one all tricked out for not a lot of money.
