TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Hmmmmmm. Why this then?

Trump administration finally announces Russia sanctions - CNNPolitics

In enacting the sanctions, the administration is finally meeting a congressional mandate to impose measures punishing Moscow for its cyber intrusion. The delay had led to questions over President Donald Trump's willingness to punish Moscow. The new measures, however delayed, amount to the most stringent punishment yet by Trump for Russia's election interference.

The Trump-Putin summit should set off alarm bells - The Washington Post

"I am sure there are other concerns, but they collectively boil down to this: If Trump really were a Russian asset, it’s hard to think what else he could do to rupture the Western alliance, diminish U.S. influence, undercut democratic government and human rights, boost Russia’s leverage in the Middle East and give Putin a green light to manipulate our elections with impunity."

The only explanation would be Russia was never successful at infiltrating the Trump campaign, It's all nonsense, witch hunt, deep state conspiracy involving Hillary, Obama, and the FBI.

All invited by Strzok as a set up. Betcha he handed the list over to Mueller himself. Then went to get a slice at Comet Ping Pong with Seth Rich's killer.

Nice whataboutism there ND40.

Nope. You started this Russia intervened in Ukraine in 2014. Barry Hussein did nothing. Trump has been harder on them than anybody has in years.

It isn’t whataboutism. It’s calling you out on nitpicking the timing, I’d say it’s a straw man. I’m talking about level of sanctions. You’re nitpicking timing.

No, the issue is why did multiple Russian billionaires attend invitation-only inauguration events "typically reserved for top donors and close political allies." Now, there may be a perfectly reasonable explanation for that (maybe billionaires from all over the word were invited to attend; maybe these were friends of Trump who just happened to be Russian). But what doesn't explain it--and is completely irrelevant to that question--is what Obama did or did not do to combat Russian election interference. That's a deflection from the issue at hand.

Ah one of the cyber professionals speaks up.

Its fair to say a person would have to have an understanding of the methodology of collecting "data" and extrapolating "evidence" from it.

They like to keep the methodology classified for a good reason.

No the issue is you’re attempting to plant a false narrative to continue the Russia collusion farce and I countered with factual evidence showing he’s been tougher on Russia than anybody in 10+ years.

You countered with a straw man nitpicking timing. I called you on your strawman and asserted more evidence based on Barry’s lack of action over four years on the Ukraine. You claimed whataboutism which I called BS on and finally pointed out your own logical fallacies on.

You’re now back to pressing the initial false narrative and I’m doing play by play 😬

Ok, so you're argument is there can't be anything amiss here because 14 months later Trump took strong actions against Russia. As if nothing happened during those 14 months that could have forced Trump's hand, right?

Federal court documents unsealed Wednesday reveal that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort had much closer ties to a Russian oligarch linked to Vladimir Putin than had been previously disclosed.

A company jointly owned by Manafort and his wife received a $10 million loan in 2010 from the oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, according to the documents, which also alleged that the Russian billionaire provided financial backing for Manafort’s consulting work in Ukraine as far back as 2005.

That information came from a source whose name was redacted in the documents, suggesting that one of Manafort’s former associates has cooperated with special counsel Robert Mueller’s wide-ranging investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy tore into Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Thursday over the long-running Russia collusion probe -- telling the Justice Department at a public hearing to “finish it the hell up because this country is being torn apart.”

Gowdy’s excoriation marked a stunning moment at the already-tense House Judiciary Committee hearing, amid a months-long battle between congressional Republicans and the Department of Justice over its handling of both the Russia probe and Hillary Clinton email investigation.

At the hearing, Gowdy, R-S.C., spoke to frustration over the protracted Russia investigation that Rosenstein oversees, suggesting that despite a host of charges against Trump-tied figures, the investigation has not found evidence of presidential wrongdoing.

No my argument is all you’re doing is once again trying to plant a narrative (and you just tried a new one with this slant - now further collusion while he’s been in office! 🙄) about Trump Russia ties when the record clearly shows he’s been harder than anybody in a decade, a fact of which you guys continually ignore because your boy was weak on everybody.

Barry said he would have more flexibility after the election. Clearly that was the case. He was so flexible that in four years he took no action on Ukraine. Trump has already provided anti armor weapons in a first round and more to come.

We laugh our asses off on you guys trying to continually plant this false narrative when all of you ignore your boy’s 8 years of ineffectiveness and general wimp behavior that is a matter of record.

I thought "Trump was not a target". Is Gowdy confirming that Trump is a traget? This is huge.
