Culinary, Arts, Thread.

I like mine best wrapped in aluminum foil and cooked in the microwave for 47 minutes 21 seconds.

Nice to see Dr. Pepper is still a mainstay for cooking. Can't beat the flavor.

I could only hope tin man tries that method

I don't like all that chit in mine either, but Im not a big chix salad fan and I'm not the one that matters.

But you saw a chicken salad with walnuts, red grapes and Italian dressing on a croissant at a food city? Is food city a super market? Was this at the deli?

No croissant.

Grocery store with a deli.

I thought to myself, no hush puppies and now their putting fruit and nuts in the chicken salad. I might as well go on and move to Ohio. Smh

Chicken salad is one of "those" items that a restaurant has to be creative with in a reverse psychology type way. 9 times out of 10 women are the only ones that will order this and 9 out of 10 times those that do will be pains in the ass.

So, they really want a basic chicken salad, but basic is too bland and they'll order it and eat it, but bish about it the whole time. So, you put nuts and fruits in it so they can order it without the nuts and fruits and then tell their friends how wonderful the chicken salad is at Behrs, but you have to order it without the nuts and fruits.

That's funny right there!

One of those things, several ways to make them and it depends on your taste. This recipe looks good, if that's the way you like them.

I like white cornmeal for Hush puppies. I don't add sugar to mine. I don't add any type of garlic in mine. I don't use both green onion and white. But again, it looks like a good recipe.

Just a reminder, on the milk. It is telling you to use 1 cup of buttermilk. If you don't have 1 cup of buttermilk, use 1 cup of milk with 2 tsp of vinegar added to the milk. Don't add the vinegar to the buttermilk.

You probably knew that, but I know many people that would have done exactly that.
