Rumor on VQ that we could be picking up grad transfer SDE Walter Brady from MTSU. He went to Mizzou as a freshman and had 7 sacks for them and then transferred to MTSU. Would be a big get for the DL if true

Interesting. I'm all for it because it adds experienced depth to the DL. While that is an awesome freshman year, I see his production dropped at MTSU (maybe slightly scheme difference/lower snap count?), however, also very interesting because he's played DE in a 4-3 at both MTSU and Mizzou. It also appears he was recruited as an OLB in HS per ESPN at least. So would he still be DE here in the 3-4 or would he be used as an "elephant" OLB?

Word is he was injured while playing at MTSU, which is why lower production. This kid led the nation in sacks for Freshman when he was at Mizzou. Would be a huge late add. Pruitt playing chess.

At some point we have to discuss what all of these new additions could mean for us. Pruitt has added some big time grad transfers in Kennedy and potentially this kid, and maybe Chryst if he wins the job, to go along with some big time juco guys like DWA and Jordan Allen. He seems to have really revamped this roster in the offseason. Maybe we will be a lot better than people think

You’re handling it better. Don’t take any “no’s” for an answer as far as making her comfortable and spending quality moments. I let my wife’s family drag her to targeted radiation for her brain tumors and the anti-seizure medicine took her STUBBORNNESS away...and precious months of the real her. Baldbiker helped me the most on this board...hope he pops up. Keep strong, friend.

If you are following international news, you may have heard about the soccer team of 11 boys and a coach who disappeared into a cave up the road here in Chiang Rai Saturday, and haven’t been heard from since.

It is believed water levels rose, trapping them inside... probably forcing them deeper and deeper into the cavern. Search and rescue is active, having found handprints on walls inside, but no people yet.

If you pray, it’d be a good thing to put your heart on for a few minutes. We have friends children who know these kids and have played against their team on several occasions

yes, that and our returning guys are all getting a new chance in my book. It'll feel like a completely new team. Pruitt is not waiting to turn this thing around, he is doing everything he can to turn it around today. In past iterations of first year coaches, they seemed to be doing what they could to turn it around tomorrow. Big difference in approach, and I think it will be successful.

Think we will certainly look better. I expect a big jump in '19 and a nasty defense soon.

Team chemistry will be huge with all this new blood, both young and older grad transfers and the guys that have fought through the crap last year.
