Good teams don't go 4-8. Last years TEAM was the consistenly worst UT TEAM I have ever seen after the Florida game. Whatever the reasons may be, they were still 4-8. The TEAM should be better this year for a lot of good reasons. It will be a lot of the same players, but they will be a different TEAM...I hope you understamd what I'm saying.

I think that butch made his hires with the intention of getting an 8 million dollar buyout. It started in 2016 when he wanted out....he got no takers, so decided to get paid. In a rate instance of true self judgement, he realized that he was definitely not an SEC caliber coach and bolted mentally after the florida loss. It went downhill from there.

After the kiffin/dooley debaucheries, I wanted so badly to believe in anything that I was not willing to see it in real time. It’s taken a retrospectoscope to reveal the truth of last season to me. When the HC quits on the team, the players are lost. 17-21 year old guys frequently make poor decisions. But the HC deserting them is the main culprit.

I think that the limited transfers that have happened are due to the players getting actual coaching from actual SEC caliber coaches. The players see the difference and are working hard to become an actual SEC caliber football team. I hope that all of us give them the time to prove that they will be.

Yeah we were being lazy and didn’t want to get an uber there to turn around and come straight back to downtown. Twisted Laurel turned ratchet quick last night. It was a good time

Totally understand. Those are right there together. We went to NB on another day. I was kind of over beer for a few days after that trip. At some point, the IPA's start tasting the same.

Now that summer camp season is over, it'll be interesting to see which commitments we take. I think a couple of our targets are close to committing.

Just to be clear, the posts that quote them aren't blocked. You'll see the post that quotes them, you just won't see the quote within their post, if that makes sense.

Something like that.

When is the roll out? Looking forward to it. Thanks Freak.

Disgraceful that the US couldn't qualify ahead of this Panamanian team.

Both Panama and Costa Rica beat us by manhandling us, pulling, pushing, holding, and fouling constantly throughout the matches, and the officials allowed this style of play. Today the referees made the calls against Panama, and England took advantage.

I mean that’s true to an extent, but that’s CONCACAF for you. It’s not like the US hasn’t been through that before. This US team showed very little heart and no urgency during the hex. Under the Klinsmann there was no plan, and under Arena we were over confident. This England team could probably beat that US team 4 or 5 to 1.

Yes to all above.

IPAs are just too hoppy for me. Give me the stouts all day. Sours are a good change of pace though

It’s a cruel irony that I’ve been a fan of Germany in international soccer for years now, but it ranks absolutely bottom on clubs of sports that I follow.

Most successful... least cares to give.

“Hey! Alright, we won the World Cup.”

But i’ll a whole year of sulking with a loss to Florida

And your response is...? I'll wait... :rtfm:

Brave Catholics

..
Blue font....hate them...

Notice this: they never play any 2 of these in the same season...only 1 at the most . Ever.

Clemson, FSU, Miami. 1 at the most per season. Gotta keep that cupcake schedule...

Of course we play bama, UGA, and gators EVERY YEAR. PERIOD. Even though we don't have to play arguably the most dominant team in the history of CFB...the gumps under saban. We do that just for extra credit, because we aint skurred, we owned them in the 90s. Notre dame, what a joke. They are so over rated every year it's crazy..can be coming off of a 7 and 5 season, sign a no20 recruiting class....and be pre season top 10. Or, lose 3 games early and still be ranked on the top 25...even though only a couple teams even have 2, and 20 of them have 1 loss or zero. Amazing. It's been that way for my entire life.

You picked a good one. Pretty funny that you randomly picked him as the best player in the world and that happened. He really is elite but not quite the best. That set piece design and execution on that goal was incredible. Not many people take a shot from that angle but the short pass and stop set have him just enough window to fit a perfectly placed shot in the corner. I saw it live in the airport as I was boarding a plane. It was awesome.

I've got a good friend who says that Germany never believes it's possible for them to lose a game. He said that is often what sets them apart. It was a perfect set piece but I don't think that there are many players in the world who could execute that shot. They'll be naming lots of babies Toni in Berlin for a long time to come :)
