Maybe i missed it but Florida was eliminated by Arkansas last night in the college World Series. Sullivan once again takes the most talented team in college baseball and only has 1 ship to show for it.

I love how asking a question about one dude's unbridled hatred for a coach that's widely respected turns into me being offended. There are a handful of posters here that remember every inane comment on every stupid subject and use it as ammo, bringing down the board with petty infighting based on dumb and flawed assumptions. Oh I guarantee you both of those cats have probably tossed the keys to a slick ride to a top recruit in their day. Or at least have had someone else do it for them. It goes on at every premiere program.

Saban and Urb are teir one. A case could be made that Saban is in his own class, with Urban just below.

Dabo is teir two. He's turned an entire program around and is currently riding the greatest run in their history.

You can simultaneously respect the skill while also vehemently disliking them.

Currently, the only one worthy of that is Saban. He's Bama's HC and my children weren't even a thought in the world when we last beat him. Dabo isn't worthy of the effort it takes to even consider disliking him. He's good at recruiting, fine, but they're not a rival in any way on the field.

Dabo is the truth

Clemson hadn’t had a double digit win season since 1990. Have won 10+ their last 7 season.

Those kind of stats are so deceiving. Teams are now guaranteed to play 1 game more per season than teams 30 years ago. Plus the good teams can potentially play another on top of that, and that doesn't include the playoffs. Ten wins just isn't as impressive as it used to be.

It's really not.

I agree ten win seasons aren't as impressive as they once were, but that's still a pretty good streak.

Hard to believe our last one was 2007 and that took us 14 games.
