Im out of the loop here, is Orgeron already on shaky ground? I know he had 1 bad loss last year but I thought they had a decent season.

That being said, everyone knows this hire was awful.

Especially inside the fan base for LSU. They saw a list of two candidates (Herman and Jimbo). Whoever runs the AD had exactly two names on its list to replace Miles. When both of those passed, they scrambled. Bad optics all around.

And after bungling the OC Canada situation the fans are growing restless. But I’ve been around long enough to know that the admin at LSU is immune to the voices of their own fans, so Coach O could be there another five years.

Kiffin would kill it there. Keep him the hell out of this league

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the West. Much rather see LSU winning over there than Ala, Aub or A'M. But definitely keep his a$$ out of the East. Really glad Flor didn't hire him, he scares me way more than Mullen ever will.

I don't get the Kitten love around here. The Raiders, USC, and his record here all say he isn't a good college head coach. He is a great coordinator and recruiter, if you are ok with living on the edge of being under major NCAA investigation. I say let Joey Freshwater keep sending his sarcastic tweets at this fanbase from I've never heard of it Florida Something Community College. The guy can't get out of the way of his own ego long enough to be successful the right way.

Nobody wins in Oakland and he's a better fit for College. He did a good job on the field his one yr here. What he did with Crompton was a minor miracle. At the time hiring his dad looked like a good hire but 4 of our 6 losses were to spread teams, which Monte had no clue how to stop. Not his fault because he never had to face them in the NFL. At USC he still had a better record than Franklin had at Penn St before he got that huge raise. I have no clue how Lane won as many as he did at USC. They were losing 10 or so scholly's per year and had a very depleted roster. What he did yr 1 at Fla Atl and those QB's was one of the best coaching jobs by anyone last yr. He would be unreal at LSU.

I'm with ya there. I'm telling you if Kiffin went to LSU, he would slay it. Arguably one of, if not the best offensive mind in college football. Would recruit great and would bring a top staff.

Vols still involved?

Yes. Bush is right at the top of the CB board, too. As we've stated before, it'll be a tough pull out of New Orleans but Fair and Johnson have given Tennessee a real shot here.

didn't see it in the timeline, but has he really not visited since Feb? would think he definitely needs to OV here, if not a couple unofficials. may be tough now with the dead period around the corner.

but this would be a really good get too.

Have no idea how he isn’t at least top3 on their board... but this kid is VERY good.

With so many dbs I forget who is who. He can flat out run.

Side note, Shea Dixon already gave a CB to LSU in May. He get to give two?

We will gladly take him. I wish Hampton was a Vol though. We would probably have a better shot if both football and baseball weren't trying to rebuild.
