TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

They had LEGAL ongoing investigations going against two key people in his campaign.

I think you must be playing checkers.

Once again, BS, looter.

I’m not talking about Manafort or Flynn. They are just convenient cover.

Pull the needle off your vinyl head.

Huh?

Speak English please.

I seem to remember that the press reported that Trump was under investigation. They reported some salacious bits of info they'd found out by spying. Then Trump accused them of wiretapping and everyone then distanced themselves from the reports b/c of the shade it threw on the gov't, who weren't supposed to be listening in.

I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember something about it.

Sounds fun. Are you showing or just looking?
Primarily, I'm just going to see the same guys I see once a year. We drink, we party, and we sit under a tent with car parts. I watch them sell parts, and help just a tad. Mostly, I sit in the shade and bullsh!t.

A Los Angeles judge has canceled a June 21 hearing at which a lawyer for adult film actress Stormy Daniels planned to seek the resumption of her lawsuit there against U.S. President Donald Trump and his longtime lawyer Michael Cohen.

According to an order issued on Monday, U.S. District Judge James Otero decided it was unnecessary to hear arguments on the request by Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti to lift a 90-day stay imposed on April 28.

Otero will rule on the request later. In imposing the stay, the judge cited the potential overlap between Daniels’ lawsuit and a separate criminal probe by federal prosecutors in Manhattan that he said could result in Cohen’s indictment.

On Sunday, The Washington Post reported on a previously unknown point of contact between the 2016 Donald Trump campaign and a Russian offering negative information about Hillary Clinton. That new report, involving a Trump campaign staff member and longtime Trump ally Roger Stone, means that at least six members of Trump’s broader team knew about offers of dirt from Russians during that campaign — and, depending on how that information was shared, as many as 10 may have, including Trump.

Sitting in the shade with a beer and bullsh!tting is about 50% of my beach trip.

That would also take away any motivation to "spy" on Trump in the first place.

What about the "insurance policy" mentioned in the Strzok / Page text messages?

Read Strzok's own words below

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office - that there’s no way he gets elected - but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok texted on Aug. 15, 2016. “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

Highlights
  • Had Horowitz not discovered the anti-Trump texts between Strzok and Page, they would still be investigating the Trump campaign
  • IG confirms his office is handling investigation into Comey’s leaking of personal memos to his friend and the New York Times
  • There was a clear breakdown in the FBI culture, with senior agents being wined and dined by reporters

No, that makes zero sense, who would be content with an insurance policy for if they die before the age of 40 if they could easily save their own life by taking one dose of medicine (leak).

Yeah, that doesn't seem like it helped.

You're beyond reason.

If you're sincerely interested, just watch the news and you'll find over the next 3-4 years.

You guys don't get it.

It had to be both or neither.

Either they felt like Trump was a big enough threat to warrant a biased investigation in order to get him if need be....which means they would have made the investigations public or at least leaked them.

Or they didn't feel he was a enough of a threat to make the investigations public knowledge or even leak a word about them.....which means they didn't see him as a big enough threat to warrant biased and unnecessary investigations.

It's obviously not the first which means it must be the second.

remember how ticked you were with the FBI for investigating Hilary? Now think of how you would have felt if it was the other party doing the investigation. there is plenty of reason to do an investigation and keep things quiet. also Trump was spouting off even at that time that the government was out to stop him, so announcing an investigation would have just given him fodder.

also if they were doing things under/around the books they definitely wouldn't want it announced.
