Where did all the people that like to talk football go? Are they in another thread having rich discussion? This place makes me so sad now.

Especially when there was a thread created for non-football.

How freakin hard is it to scroll past stuff you don't wanna read? It is the freakin offseason..there are barely 200 posts a day in this thread and there is almost nothing football related to talk about, you whiners like to gripe, yet bring nothing but your gripe to talk about. This forum would be almost completely dead without OT discussion. It has always been this way in the offseason and always will..if you hate it so much the Football Forum is that way >>>

I hate the basketball talk and will occasionally post a gif which shows how my eyes are bleeding from reading the same post over and over and day after day. However, if it was bad, the Mods would issued cease and desist emails. It is filler conversation until important stuff happens. I agree with you. Scroll or just take a VN break if you can't handle it.

I think it’s just irritating because the thread title states Recruiting forum football talk, and a lot of guys use this thread to get updates on our recruiting. Btw, there is a thread one click away for off topic BS to be discussed all day. It’s just annoying imo

People aren't really upset that you guys are off topic, this PARTICULAR conversation is just futile and obnoxious. I'm all about some cheeseburger and beer debates. though!

Just FYI. This thread is the worst thread in the recruiting forum to get recruiting updates. Some will make it in here but it was created as a non recruiting thread for the most part. Every other thread in this forum will have recruiting updates. :good!:

Really it’s just the same two or three posters repeating the same crap over and over. I engaged for the first little bit but let it go once I saw it was going nowhere. I put those posters on ignore and my experience had been much better.

He thinks this? How? Brown, Middleton, cox and Beasley are the only 3 stars. Analysts have already said Beasley/brown will be bumped. Both have the offer lists you want to see. Middleton was a 4 star in HS and only a 3 star right. Is because he hasn't played in 2 yrs. he still was offered by UGA and FL recently. Cox just got the auburn offer.

So we aren't exactly competing with college of charleston for these guys.

If someone posts something and others respond, does the subject remain off-topic or is it now on-topic? And if it is now on-topic since people are talking about it, wouldn't future posts on the particular subject be inappropriate since we're supposed to be talking about off-topic subjects?

I agree, I'm sick of it too, but it is not hard to scroll on down..it is not like a typical day during the season when you have 500-1,000 posts to sift through. That is why it seems so petty. Just because I hate soccer doesn't mean I have to get pissed at guys for talking about it and gripe non stop.

I would agree with this. A lot of us come here for football recruiting related information. If you have to just scroll past what you don’t want to read, you end up missing any updates or good information. Considering we have an off topic thread specifically for off topic information, I don’t see why those conversations can’t go there.
