Brady is def great. He’s incredible. But he’s also had so many more advantages and continuity too. Manning took Gary Kubiak, John Fox, and Jim Caldwell to super bowls lol. That alone is a miracle.

And only one QB has taken Belichik to a Super Bowl. Before Brady, The Hooded One was regarded as an average HC...cuz that’s what his RECORD indicated. Every SB win has been a result of Brady’s performance and none of the losses were done deals until the last second...because of Brady. Guy delivers every time...like Jordan. :) That’s why I had to change my vote from Manning three Super Bowls ago.

He guarded Kevin Johnson, Stockton, and Payton mostly in the finals....

Other than a few quarters he guarded Magic Johnson for almost the whole 91 finals. Except when they needed him on Worthy. He guarded Clyde Drexler for most of that series in 92 and most of Drexler's points came in transition when Jordan wasn't covering him. You act like Kevin Johnson was a chump. At the time Kevin Johnson is one of 3 players in history (Oscar + Isiah) to average 20-10 for 3 straight years. Jordan shut him down. Gary Payton had averaged 22-5-7-2 on 50% through 3 rounds in the 1996 Playoffs, while sweeping the 2x defending champion Rockets and beating Stockton/Malone's Jazz. Jordan shut him down. Who should he have guarded? Those were those teams best players. In the 1996 Eastern Conference Finals, Pippen spent more time guarding Penny than Jordan did, but when Jordan did guard Penny, he did a better job. Penny only scored 1 total point with Jordan guarding him in the entire 1996 ECF. And in 1998, with the season on the line against Indiana in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Jordan was the one who had to guard Reggie Miller in the 4th quarter. Reggie had 22 points on 7/12 (58%) FG through 3 quarters, then Jordan switched on him in the 4th and Reggie had 0 points and was only able to attempt 1 shot. In every NBA Finals, Jordan guarded a top 5 or top 10 all-time PG or SG
- Magic Johnson
- Clyde Drexler
- Kevin Johnson
- Gary Payton
- John Stockton

Pippen is a top-5 perimeter defender, but contrary to popular belief (mostly based on Game 2 of the 1991 Finals) Jordan took on more difficult matchups at a higher rate than Pippen in the playoffs, and most of the time did a better job.

Brady Wes below average in the early Super Bowls. That team was possession and defense.

Do you use that for cooking? I've looked into it, and I can comprehend that folks say the MCTs are much more easily processed and digested than LCTs, but I just have a hard time using MCT oil to, for instance, saute some asparagus, when I can just use some zero calorie, zero fat Pam spray.

For cooking, you can grab the coconut spray, olive oil spray, or just throw some butter down. Aldi and Walmart have all this stuff now. Waaaaaay better than hydrogenated vegetable oils. Good, natural oils and fats are actually good for cholesterol.

I’m just getting interested in this keto stuff, mostly because I’m trying to increase my liver health, prevent diabetes, and because my wife can’t eat gluten anyway. I’m completely addicted to sugars, and I’m realizing how many sneaky sugars I’m ingesting. I don’t really care about being in ketosis or not. My objective is to reduce my carbs from sugars for long term health. I’ve been cutting out overt sweets for a while, but I pretty much replace it with sugars in other stuff. With my mom having diabetes now, I’m realizing I have some work to do. Naturally, I imagine I am reducing my carbs from probably 100-200 per day down to 40-50 per day, almost all from sugars.

Drex and Stockton were both 35+ and Kevin. Johnson couldn’t shoot past 10 feet. For a really good defender that’s not a hard task. It’s harder to guard someone that makes you step out that’s just basic.

That first one? Against the Rams? End of game...with everyone in the football universe (including John Madden) preaching to sit on the ball and play for overtime, this second year player who was only a fraction of what he would eventually become, drove them the length of the field to set up the winning field goal...and the win. “Average” QB folds with those stakes...below average even moreso. You’re wrong. :)

Clyde is 8 months older than Jordan and Stockton is 1 year older than Jordan. So there goes that theory. You are obviously just making stuff up now. Kevin Johnson didn't take many deep shots because he didn't have to. He was lightning in a bottle and could get to the rim on almost anyone. It's definitely harder to guard a guy that fast that could create his own shot on the dribble than a guy that sits on the 3 point line. That's just basic. He was the original Russell Westbrook driving pg but without all the questionable 3 point attempts and selfish assists. It's not like he couldn't shoot though. The one year he attempted more than one 3 pointer a game he shot 44% on 2.9 attempts.

That year the 3pt line was moved in so everyone’s averages went up including Jordan lol.

People love pointing at those things no one can see or measure “killer instinct, mental toughness”. Is Brady that much more mentally tough etc than manning?

THE similarities between Manning/LeBron vs Brady/Jordan are crazy. It’s why i think LeBron is the Goat for the same reason I do Manning. Even tho titles are not even close. It should be like #10 on the list when comparing individual players. Too many variables that go into it.
Aaron Rodgers is the GOAT at QB

You said he couldn't shoot outside of ten feet. The line was farther than that right? He could shoot just fine. You are gonna pull a muscle reaching for argument points here. You already ruined yer credibility claiming Drexler and Stockton were so much older than Jordan. And claiming that Jordan didn't guard the other team's best player. You've obviously only seen youtube videos. Jordan was one of the best perimeter defenders of all time and there is only one person I have ever seen try to deny that. (it's you. I'm talking about you being that only person denying it.) :lolabove:
