Mueller accuses Manafort of witness tampering - CNNPolitics
The Special Counsel's Office has accused Paul Manafort of attempting to shape potential witnesses' testimony and has asked to send him to jail as he awaits his trial, according to a filing in DC District Court on Monday night.
.............Anyone see a Trump pardon on the horizon?
Tampering with a witness is a crime in itself and it's one Manafort has not yet been charged with.
You think there were more than one?
easy cowboy I edited it.
question remains about lack of charges
Lol, I see that. Nice save.
I'm sure the updated charges are coming. They must be worried Manafort is a flight risk and they want him detained.
Reports are that Manafort is part of a large organization of foreign interests that were secretly lobbying for Ukraine and he tried to get witnesses to lie and say none of it was in the US.
I suppose it's possible that this is completely unrelated to Trump. But you can be sure now that if there is evidence Trump knew of it or even worse benefited, then you can bet Manafort will be offering that up.
How do you know that?
You don't.
You just hope there is no connection.
Read the facts.
Manafort attempted to tamper with potential witnesses -U.S. ...
None of Manafort's charges from the special counsel relate to Trump's campaign.
You're right. The Wikileaks servers located in Russia do tie Russia, maybe not the Kremlin state though, but there is a connection. No matter how small you see it nor as big as I see it, there is a connection worthy of investigating for our national security.
You honestly think he's innocent? Truly?
I'm not talking proof. What does your gut tell you? Mine says no one acts like this unless they are panicked.
What is the crime again?
Specifically the initial crime/evidence of a crime that started the investigation?
What event started this investigation?
