TrumpPutingate III: the beginning of the end

Obama was far from acting presidential compared to previous presidents.

That's an adjective with very broad meaning. It's interpretation is left up to the beholder. Obama definitely had a more strict adherence to the social norms of governance and professional etiquette of the office, but that is not the only way to define "presidential".

When you have a President saying he has "the absolute right to pardon myself", that reeks of guilt for a Federal crime.

Notice again how much Pence stays out of this. I imagine his wife is measuring the drapes and picking out a new set of China at this point.

I like it when my President goes on a worldwide apology tour, and bows to everyone. Makes him look strong.

That's another one of those blown out of proportion right wing talking points. Plus, there's nothing wrong with apologizing, especially when warranted. You're a married man, you should know that.

Does that mean you would be okay with a Trump self pardon? If not, what do you think should happen in the event he pardoned himself?

Trump: 'I have the absolute right to pardon myself' - CNNPolitics

During another Sunday show appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press," Giuliani added that Trump pardoning himself is "unthinkable"

This question is irrelevant because Trump would never pardon himself. You may think Trump is stupid, but he would never disobey his lawyer's advice. He may say he's going to, but he would never actually do it. Kind of like how he wanted to interview with Mueller against his lawyer's wishes and then backed out.

What did we gain by President Obama's approach to foreign relations? I don't have a problem with him trying something different. It just didn't appear to work.

Trump is a masterful troll. The left willingly allows him to leash them and lead them by the neck, they’re just too stupid to see it.

Obama was the last president to be presidential. Come to think of it, Trump is the first who is consistently and glaringly unpresidential.

Past Presidents have always faded away and made a point not to criticize the current President. Until Obama.

Obama defends himself from Trump's scurrilous personal attacks and insults.

And actually he has been remarkably restrained imo in not going on tv and warning people that they now have a Russian agent and criminal sitting in the Oval Office and they should get rid of Trump ASAP.

So you admit he's an unfit, un-Presidential, childish moron. I agree.

There outta be a test for those fit to be part of the electorate, make political commentary, and vote..
I get to write the test. You fail. Mental competancy is a first requirement. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

So, he's just as petty as Trump?

Bush 43 never said a word about the slams he received from Obama.

Does this mean that Donald is, in fact above the law if he thinks he can just pardon himself against real or alleged crimes? Am I reading this right?

Well a lot of Democrats want to impeach him even if he didn't commit a crime so it seems only fair that he should then pardon himself from the non-crime.

Not even remotely close. Every living president: Carter, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Obama thinks Trump is a lunatic and an embarrassment. Their view certainly cross party lines.
