Looks great on film. Even likes to block. Hope that translates over to the college ranks with the step up in athleticism. I would imagine, according to what I've read, that he would have been rated higher if not for some academic concerns.

You always find playing time for really good players. If he is as good as his tapes and works as hard as he claims, he will see playing time this Fall.

Thanks OD. Jeremy’s been going at it hard over the last 4 months. His HS has a great coaching staff that’s been helping / pushing the kids in the off-season.

I'm not overly impressed with his film. But the kid has good size and a great plant foot. It's hard to judge true power with HS football but with his size and pad height he can become a bruiser with the right S&C program. Fortunately for him, Pruitt is pushing for big strong backs.

I get that. So many times we can forget we're watching a talented player performing against much less talented teams. You can just watch them gve up on tackles or run around clueless. No one can predict how they'll fare when facing a team that meets their assignments. But, he does seem to have a spark, and we'll have to trust the CJP recruiting team on all their recruits. Go Vols. Turn on that light bulb!

Does he pass the eye test? As in can you see the talent in his eyes if you stare at his picture long enough? I hear that is how real talent is evaluated...

...or sometimes if you have a picture of them on a river bank with a caption that says, "He wants it"; that is also a very good indicator.

HS is hard to judge as the talent level is usually pure garbage.. The coaches think he is gonna to fit a need and get a lot of playing time this year.. So we should be excited... Game over
