If Butch can beat a two loss South Carolina...

No evidence of that yet. He's going to have to do a lot this season to make this post make sense.

There’s plenty of evidence. Dobbs was bad his freshman year and was never a good enough passer to beat elite defenses. JG has a stronger, more accurate arm and I’ve been impressed with his decision making. Dobbs was a 1-read guy with wheels. JG is a better quarterback who has been held back by coaching. Dobbs had a higher floor because of his legs, which is why he did well, but JG has a higher ceiling.

JG needs to get rid of the ball quicker and he did that in the spring game. He is set to have a coming out party this fall

JG did not get rid of the ball quicker in the spring game. It was actually harped upon that he didn't. In a real game he would have been sacked more than twice (two physical touches).

To say JG is a better passer than Dobbs is a little ridiculous considering one is in the Pros and (Played well in the pre-season last year, very mobile and made good reads/passes).

Dobbs also never had an issue with making decisions or holding on to the ball to long. He also had a ton of yards rushing when he graduated.... So....

P.S. I thought Dobbs had accuracy issues so I am not a Dobbs train kind of guy, but he was definitely better than whatever JG has done so far.

Dobbs was a one read and bolt guy. He didn't see the open receiver a lot.

You can't be serious..

Better, more accurate passer, higher ceiling as a pocket passer. Yes.

But better as a collegiate, playmaking qb than Dobbs showed to be, especially as a senior? You’re right.....at this point he can’t possibly be serious.
