Rank-and-File FBI Agents Eager to Blow Whistle on Comey, Holder, Lynch

Newt: Obama and Valerie Jarrett Behind Spying, Trying To Frame Trump

To Gingrich, however, the path led all the way back to Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett.

“Presently, someone will figure out to ask what did Valerie Jarrett know and when did she know it?” Gingrich said.”What did Barack Obama know and when did he know it? Because what you’re seeing happen is, on every single level — and this is what happens with really big scandals — they keep on folding and they keep on folding and they keep on folding.

“So we’re now supposed to believe that the director of national intelligence was lying to us, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency was lying to us, the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation was lying to us, the number two person at the FBI was lying to us, the attorney general was lying to us — because she was meeting Bill Clinton on an airplane in private to talk about their grandchildren.”

“I mean, at what point do you just say, give me a break?” he continued. “All of this, I believe, was being coordinated by Obama and by Valerie Jarrett and by the White House. … Look, I don’t believe if you look at the total number of things going on, I don’t believe in an administration that was as tightly centralized as the Obama administration, you could have had as many different things going on — all of them illegal — without the president having been briefed."

“Around 10 o’clock on election night, they all began to realize this could get really bad,” Gingrich added. “And they were shifting gears from protecting Hillary — which had been their job for two years — to trying to destroy Trump. Now you’re watching people who, I think, in every case are in danger of going to jail.

“If the system works and people are actually tested on, ‘Did you tell the truth under oath?’ Clapper’s a perfect example,” he said.

Will this all happen? We’ll certainly see.

One thing’s for sure, though — the fiction that Trump wasn’t spied on by the Obama administration simply doesn’t hold water anymore.

Luther, I distrust politicians and you distrust capitalists. I feel like I have control over the impact a capitalist's business has in my life. I feel like I have choice. I feel no control and no viable choice on the impact politicians have in my life.

I feel that way more about bureaucrats than politicians. Sr career bureaucrats are almost untouchable and answerable to almost no one. You can at least work to oust a politician.

I understand perfectly. Different beliefs, nothing wrong with that.

How do you distinguish between politician and bureaucrats ?

The government created nothing. The people who laid out the rules for our style of government created the framework.

Career politicians and bureaucrats have bastardized what those people created.

Truth. That's the problem with people like Luther. They deify government.

Deify government? Are you serious? Just because I don' t vilify the government as most of you, in no way means I deify. Plus, I think the vilification is more dangerous and harmful than any deification.

So, to never question the government or be suspicious of the government, is more dangerous than treating them as gods? The question would be, Are YOU serious? Do you know history?

Politicians at least have to get elected, bureaucrats simply get hired and weasel their way through the system.

Another point in which we agree. Bureaucrats answer to no one. They control the system and insure their wealth. They sit on one another's boards and rubber stamp each other into extreme, and usually completely unearned, obscene wealth. (and then cry for and receive the biggest tax breaks)

I continually question and am suspicious of the government. You would have to be an idiot not too.

But you view vilifying the government more dangerous than viewing the government as gods? Is that your position?

Most definitely. Questioning and being suspicious is not even remotely close to vilifying. Plus: I hope you're not literally saying "viewing as gods".

You couldn't be more wrong.

Luther, do you know what a bureaucrat is?

Deify:To worship or view as a god.
Vilify: To speak ill of or disparage.

To make a little more clear, you believe to worship the government is less harmful than to speak ill of or disparage the goverment? If so, people with your view are the real danger.

Compassion, intelligence, depth, empathy, wisdom....

You asked, I answered. No need to voice your disagreement. How about instead, you guys just list Trump's traits you would wish for your children.

Translation: Ima make a stupid ****ing answer and I don't want you to talk bad about me.

If this alternative turned out to be true, it would even be a sadder day for America than was Nov. 8th. The fact that so many view this as the preferred and more believable outcome is sad.

We have a low character shyster and his band of misfits vs. a former president, FBI, CIA, DNI and DOJ. It's an easy call for all the but the biggest red hats.

Your assimilation is complete!

Welcome to the borg Luther.

My problem with your argument goes back to previous discussions we've had. You don't seem to question when it's the left taking action. You fail to see suspicion in activities that seem to be underhanded. Your belief in the Democratic party blinds you to their imperfections. You have zero problem questioning or being suspicious of Republicans. But you do tend to deify Democrats, at least here. Maybe you just do it on this MB. Maybe in real life you are more questioning and suspicious of the left. It doesn't come across here, and here is the only place many of us interact.
